Not about the competition (cpu), but look at the HB stop and run TOWARD defenders multiple times. On the second play he actually ran at the defenders 3 times when he could have gone straight and walked into the end zone untouched. Can this really be entirely pinned on cruise control?

Wow that's bazaar. You don't have anything in the Sharpie VA do you? I think he's trying to get to the post so he can sign the ball.

I put points into Slippery, guess he just wants a chance to use it..even if it means running 10 yards back to the pile to do it.

I'm relatively new so take this with a grain of salt...

maybe the defender has a large tackle radius. This could account for the HB making moves and trying to fool the defender. It's a stretch, but it may explain the strangeness. Maybe we can get a tester to see what elusive does when entering the tackle zone of a player that is being blocked (both when the block is being held and when it is constantly breaking and re-engaging)?

thats actually a really good theory. Put this in the suggestion forum to be tested.

is it possible that you can have false confidence if your confidence is too low? I mean its like the back was seeing the endzone and said to himself "lets lay out a Safety, I am the strongest man alive!!!....oops, bad idea."

that 2nd cap info is really helpful since i think that's the biggest problem for SE...running straight into a tackle after the defender's already been beat. that said, point #2 doesn't make sense to me. Why would a back aim for the straightest line to the endzone? that would make very little sense.

It was hard to explain that part of it, and I was thinking people would get mixed up. Basically if the HB gets through the LOS, and he has nothing in front of him, or a good lane to ANY direction, he will just BURST straight through that and not try any dancing. Like this:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=551696&pbp_id=1853523

Instead of stopping, he keeps sprinting and slices by the Cb who is being blocked. No slowing/stopping/hesitation. He just GOES STRAIGHT and picks up the extra yards.

Thats what i meant by going straight.

I gotta say I think this is really inconclusive.

In your replay here, the WR locks the CB down.

51 vision, while this was the one of two cuts inside on the game, he regularly runs very close to defenders. I think the reason he didn't go outside on this one is that he recognized the WR wasn't holding the block and the CB was disengaging. So much so it looks like he either got reverse caked, or had to try for a cut block due to being outmatched.

You see similar reactions to FBs, who are able to ID a lineman in trouble and they move to assist in the trench instead of trying to block down field to stop the TFL. Last season I was able to pull FBs and TEs on outside routes in to triple team my NT who had exceptional block breaking capability.

I bring up the FB as a way to counter the failed/successful vis check. You can kinda see it again, this time both CBs are locked down. Following the thread, he would have possibly ID'd the FS and took it outside...mebby a bad angle by the FS prompted it, maybe not.

Diff game, he doesn't go outside.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=473476&pbp_id=4381495

No hesitation to close on the CB

The matchup check might also cover some of the odd 'close on the defender' plays. The back makes a check on who he thinks he can fake. If he believes he can fake a defender, then moving toward center field gives him more room to work with as he gets into open field.

so..vision helps?
i've a speed back..94 speed 64 agility..49 vision, low confidence 27, and 45 on carrying....
i don't know if it's useful raise vision...i'm trying to understand at what % put my bar..
i have fear that he begin to dance, and made tons of unuseful chech and miss the momentum to cut or make other things..

Only way to be sure is to test it. I'd fear your confidence is gonna hurt more than anything else. How many points in SAs?

A juke looks exactly like a head fake. The defender just falls down.

Looks like buggy super elusive rushing with high vision.

I'd say start at 70, see if you can test higher through scrims and adjust down if you feel he is hesitating too much due to his low conf or lower than prime AGI. I think it really makes the diff when you start adding more into Quick Cut, and the fake/juke SAs.

I think your best bet is to find a fake% or better yet quick cut AEQ piece.
