Bort could easily fix that by forcing a certain number of players to rush.

that's not even a fix.

a real fix would be to fix the offensive line or include an audible system <_<

please enlighten me as to why the O-line needs to be fixed

the fact that they act retarded when all 11 defenders drop back to defend the pass

I mentioned this in the test forum and told them to test it several weeks ago, they did test it but not significantly to what I would have thought they should

to be fair...if that is ran in real life...the oline is probably just as confused to why the entire d line is running away...

im sure the qb would pull it down and take the easy yardage <_< now that i think about it, why doesn't the nfl use this? >_>

Natural GLB progression imo.

If PassRush == Futile
End PassRush.

The OL just don't know what to do. The RT goes after the MLB, I guess he's coded to block MLB if DE is not there, ignoring LOLB, the LG and LT stands around like it's a pass play. This play completely exposes what crappy blocking coding GLB has. Just pathetic.

I think you were just unfortunate here. I think it's possible the FB takes the LOLB and the run goes for great yardage.

However, I'm not sure. I think everyone knows there's some really retarded blocking assignments where O-linemen pass of D-linemen to FBs, so maybe this is a nasty example.

Because real life players don't score 0 on the Wonderlic IQ test like our dots?

and you guys all wondered why I thought this season's sim wasn't so great. I knew about this pass coverage a long time ago. The testers and people posting in that thread told me that a) it was legal in football and b) when they do this, run the ball. This is just one of a couple red flags I've found so far. It's sad. This was found way back on the test server, but no one said a damn thing.

Like gee, maybe every team will run this on third down and long? second and really long? Up 17 late?

/shrug

I'm kinda tired spending so much time on this game, really.

The TE and FB's blocks actually looks pretty good to me, they went out and actually found someone to block. I'm not sure about WR2 though, you just don't try to make seal off blocks when the run is to the inside.

Ya, I was just thinking that the FB seemed to pick the NT over the LOLB, and that's a hard code decision kicking in.

but i'm saying. let's say it's 3rd and 10 and all 11 players drop back into some sort of man/zone coverage. how would the offense easily get the first down?

i'm sure they can stop the QB if he decided to run and the pass should be pretty much locked up

Well, honestly, it depends. If those are real D-linemen, they really aren't all that hot in Pass Coverage, and they fuck it up. If they aren't real D-linemen, it's actually not that hard to completely destroy them with the O-line and get massive yardage on a run play. Finally, when the QB has ALL DAY, it's a lot easier to find someone coming open, especially with skill-less linemen trying to cover the zones.
