The thing with some VAs is that you can't necessarily think of them individually. You have to think of them within the context of how you are building our back. If you have slippery or bruiser maxed, then SYM is a good extension of those VAs. You don't even have to max it out. You can get good value with just 5 or 10 points in it.

Thing is, elusive backs have a greater chance of getting tackled behind the LOS, and they're not terribly likely to BREAK many tackles to begin with, so I don't think the % bonus would be of significant help.

This. SYM is not a very good VA.

its good if you have alot of backfield pressure...

thats from a game where we got crushed

You know, I hadn't thought about it like this but you could almost let the LB/DE try and tackle you in the backfield since you've got a crazy boost to tackle breaking. After you break that tackle you should have 5-10 yards of open space to get back up to speed and you should be facing DBs. Probably wouldn't work but it's an interesting thought.

I just reset out of it. 4 games vs higher lvl teams and not one hit in the backfield. Not high enough to cap 2 VAs yet... Trying to stop the .5 yd tackles.
