my DCo wants me to be a run stuffer first and then stop the TE. and i agree. i've cause 2 FFs in the 3 scrims played and i want to maximise that potential. i might not be able to cover perfectly but i sure will give grief when tackling.

what i intend to do is:
Power Tackler
Jack Hammer
Helmet

not sure in which order but i'm slowly getting strength to 60

I'm going with Sure Tackler, Power Tackler, and Ballhawk as my three.

After those, who knows. Probably Helmet; maybe Long Reach.

After the first reset I did 15 Power and 3 Jackhammer. Had this happen last game..

Now, if I could just figure out why the game is sending me guy on far coverage instead of close :\

Well, in real life fundamental football the run game is the MLB's responsibility. In GLB though, my LOLB spends a lot of time around the LOS either making a play on the HB, or blitzing the QB. I've seen a few other GMs use their LOLBs in just such a manner in the lower leagues. (I suspect this tactic might not be as effective in the pros?)

Anyone like pass rusher VA for a blitzing LOLB?
