3rd down passing occurs only about 5-7 times a game

Unfortunately it seems like the vision requirement to get off the line decently has been increased.

if so, what would you guess the new requirement is?

i've changed my view on this. just on 3rd down passes? i'm going to look elsewhere. may go with streaky instead. +5% to all stats in 80% of games. for RDEs who looked at 0s last season, does the occasional -5% game even matter?

Combine Streaky with Slow Starter?

I'm trying it on my LB. Getting a sack on one of those 5-7 times per game will make it worthwhile IMO.

My DE was able to force an OT backward with my primarily speed/agility build for a hurry - and I credit it to passrusher. I have settings on elusive rush so I am unsure as to why my DE is bullrushing this play, but here it is.

The OT here is a pancake machine so Im fairly certain he has alot more strength than I do, I am going to guess he doesnt have Pass Blocking though and probably opted for +blocking and showboat - I'd say a good number of Oline would go that route.

Thanks, I'll try elusive on my guys that I want to bull rush with next game.

I had my power DE set to bull rush and he played totaly elusive, to the point where he wouldn't even go near the O-Line if they were standing shoulder to shoulder. He would just stand in front of them a yard or two away like the had a forcefield on.

I set my DT who has high strength and agility to combo to see if that would work better, and he would sometimes bull rush and sometimes do the forcefield thing, but he also tried some true elusive stuff like starting as a shifted DT over the nose and tried the DE "Big Loop" style rush where he went all the way outside and tried to go all the way around the LT. Not quite enough speed for that buddy.

If elusive is letting you bull rush sometimes, maybe bort just put the coding in completely backwards. Imagine that.

I think more often then not my DE was looping around the back as he should with elusive rushing. Only on 2 occassions did my DE bullrush, and I have a feeling the VA was responsible for that. It actually looked fairly effective and I was considering changing my settings to combo.

If the other option for a solid pass rush is Jump THe Snap What are peoples thoughts for a DE still rounding out his build. (low vision, high speed, str, and agility)

If Pass rusher is only going to kick in 5-7 times a game while Jump the snap rolls on every play, but if its checking vision, is it going to be a waste?

against a lvl 40 OT, im lv 36

Pass rush VA is better for strength/agility DL than speed/agility or agility/speed. Get it if you are a high strength build DL. Don't if you are a low strength DE. You are better off convincing your DC to drop you off into zone coverage and then load up on zone specialist and ball hawk.

Try Bull rush (or at least combo) again.
