Has anyone use or heard of anyone using bruiser on a TE? Pre is 50 carry (high for a TE), but I think it could be useful. I only thing I would hate is setting running style at -50%.

Any comments?

Just found out that Sure Hands only comes into play on a dropped pass.

Taken from the WR Forum.

So Ball Hawk and Sure Hands aren't as good as they sound. What VAs are you guys going to be using?

As a blocking TE I have no idea what to do with VAs now.

What do people think about Tenacious VA on TEs? Or do people think about that VA at all?

I haven't seen it talked about, but it sounds intriguing.

My TE went underdog and pass blocking. He is a pretty well rounded TE I think. I wish I could say his success today (10 catches) was due to Underdog, but the defense flat out sucked on both sides of the game and I don't think he got lined up against man-to-man once.

How about Mr. Reliable? Anyone thought about that?

I put 10 into Mr. Reliable along with some Clutch. I like the 20% bonus to catching on 3rd +4th downs.

I'm going with slippery! I just need to break one tackle to open up a long TD run most of the time. I'm also raising carrying up to 48 or higher depending on results. If I can average 2/3 broken tackles a game I'll be very happy.

With the death of track star and quick seriously thinking about just dumping first 5 of 7 I have into MS then sure hands.

This is a pretty nice one.

I'm trying out a combination of Slow Starter with Second Wind at the moment, which is looking OK (although needs good co-ordination with the OC so that you're only running routes in the 1st quarter).

Otherwise what about Hometown Hero - since it's change this year it doesn't have any drawbacks, and gives a nice confidence/stamina boost. Maybe not the best one to have off the bat but could be useful as a 3rd/4th VA to max out?

Let me know how slippery works out for you. I may make it the second VA I get if it's working against even compition.

I've had Bruiser for over a season now on my TE (before the prerequisite was 50) and he tends to run over people A LOT. He also has a high strength build as well.
