I don't actually use lines, but I have said things like what I have posted above on a few occasions or something similar.

99% of all of my attempts to pick up a girl are not rehearsed or pre-planned. I do everything quite a bit differently than most people I know. I just relish the opportunity to be put on the spot and just go with my gut instincts, it's much more exciting and thrilling that way.

So the typical scenario in a bar is if I'm standing with 3 of my friends and see a hot chick and I say "oooh look at her, I'm going to go talk to her", then one of the guys will say "so what the hell are you going to say", and my response is always, "i have no idea, i'll figure it out while on the way to walking over to her, or I'll just not even think about it and walk up to her, and then whatever comes out, comes out, and I'll roll with that whatever that is, and then I'll come back here and tell you what happened, good or bad, it's going to be interesting that's for damn sure, and there's no way I'm going to come across as pre-planned or rehearsed and reading from a script, and maybe that's my unique edge to show her a different option than everybody else that does the same thing, see ya in a few".

Sometimes I just go extremely simple and to the point, I just walk up and say "hi", that's it, and let her puzzle for a moment or two on why I just said "hi" and nothing else to support that and see where it goes from there. Eventually she'll say "uhhh, hi lol", and then I'll say something like, "yeah i was just over there and then saw you here and thought it would be a good idea to come over here and say hi" (and in many cases she'll feel the burden to stir up a convo to break the unanticipated rhythym of which she isn't accustomed to and then I find a play off of her move first), or sometimes something like "yeah i just thought you were hot so i decided to come over and say something, so i'm scott, who might you be?"

LOL, i'm too long winded in telling my stories, but it's not the same thing to be "on the spot". I'm only long winded in this recap part of the process, cause I tend to ramble as I type, cause why not, lalala, i'm not really paying attention, trying to watch TV at the same time, talk on the phone, and what were we talking about again?
