We had not players no stadium no money..... from nothing we fielded a team that went 10-6 in the first year.... did you look at my roster from last year or this year.... we won almost every game we should have......

We went 10-6 in an uncappped league. We still have no stadium but we are still going to kick your ass this year...... even if we have to do it in a scrimmage because you are getting us booted out of the league.......

all about the builds. If that guys level 45 has a shitty build then why

I posted to every single time over a level 45 guy with a quacked out
build. (Also no offense to the owner of that player..)

This is a
pretty even league. There are some better than others but it is better
than an uncapped league. Also no one cheated the system. The shift was
done based on the median weighted towards the top 25% of the roster. It
clearly stated that one or 2 players over the level would not
disqualify you for a capped league.

So people did not cheat the system they played the game... which is the way it is done.

But seriously, I totally understand that some people make crap builds, I get that really I do. But being 10 lvls higher than the cap they are 50 skill points ahead of players within the cap. You can't tell me that doesn't go a ways into making up for their bad build? The point is even if he has a crap build, and lvl 44 player will certainly play better than he would with the build he had at lvl 34, why should a bad player have more success than his build warrants? And why should players within the cap have enjoy less success than they would with that player had he been using his player as it was when he was 34? Even if he is lvl 44 and still sucks, he clearly sucks less now then he did at lvl 34. That in itself is an advantage gained soley by aditional levels as you yourself said he has a bad build to begin with.

All i'm saying is it would be nice to play in a league where people for the most part embraced the cap rather than try to turn what was meant to create a level playing field into an advantage for their particular team. But again, to each their own, if GLB doesn't have a problem with it, what can I say about it other than I wish it were different? You're right that the requirements to get into a capped league were to have the top 25% of your team fit inside that league's cap, but if you do have 15 starters over the league median, I don't see how the top 25% of your team could possibly fit in the 34 cap as it stands now.



The bigger issue is they were over the median when teams were handed out. A simple adjustment would solve this problem and the 31 other paying teams would not be getting screwed.

You were placed in the wrong league. How can you bitch? Why do you have to be in a league that isn't correct? It is not fair to anyone. From anyone's POV other than yours, its not right. Lets stop this nonsense, and just get this fixed. You were at over a 35 median when league relocation went through. Your a perfect fit for a 38 cap.

I hear what you are saying.... I do not have a guy over 38 which is 4 levels above the cap...

People are bitching at us but if you look closely we have signed a lot of level 34 guys since the cap was put into place.... in fact is was our selling point.... some had boost to burn in season 8. Bonus......

We ran our numbers the night of the change and we were under and Bort & GLB seemed to agree at the time. Since then just like every other team we have been improving the roster..

We have guys who are 1 or 2 levels over... maybe we have a lot of them ... maybe too many... maybe cry baby who cut all his good players will win by blowing Bort... Who knows....... If the move us fine but if we stay we will still have to play the sim just like everyone else.




My points is that this guy is preaching fairness yet is fielding a slow built team... the very nature of slow building is to make superior team by retarding their leveling up. The idea behind slow building is to field a better team then the "cap" really allows..... Yet he is calling for fairness.......

Did you run the numbers to determine your exact median and weight the top 25%?

Bort Stated: One or two players over a "cap" does not exclude you from the cap. We're sorting the teams by median, weighted upwards by the top 25% of your team. THEN the caps are applied based on the teams that end up in the league.

We did that and we rated out for this league and this cap.... Some of our guys had season 8 boosts left... they boosted after they were signed just like everyone does on a capped 13 team.

Please don't be bitter that someone is playing the game better than you are... its a game of cyber inches...... and those inches are all around you.......

You actually have 14 players over the lvl 34 cap. And you did not plan your team better you recruited higher levels. And i would love to see the retard who saved season 8 boosts for the end of the season, that is a bold-faced lie if you are trying to claim all 14 players did that.

I Cut the players hoping for a 31 cap, which bort did not give BBB owners an option of, only to have one after realignment. I then adjusted my roster, ruined my 100/100/100 chemistry, recruited my ASSSS off, and filled the rest of my roster with 34's. You were over the median at time of teams being handed out, and are at an unfair advantage. I can promise you, 1 team with a totally unfair advantage is not going to get overlooked by GLB. It is just not right. Bort would be basically saying to the other 31 owners. I am going to let 1 team circumvent the rules I have put in place, and will allow them to win this league.

Your median was over 35. 15 is too high. I love how you can't compete on a level playing field. Sad deal.

To be fair there are teams in the league now with a higher top 25% than his. I know of one whose top 25% average is 39.7, even if the whole team boosted it wouldn't spike the average up that high.

Exactly.... this is as fair as its going to get because if you are going to get me thrown out of the league there are about 7 teams that need to go with me...

There are no teams to fill those spots.... move us up we are way out classed. If you get your head out of your ass, dpride59 , you will see that this is about as fair as it gets on GLB....

This league is as even as any other. I fact is is more even then most... you know that your just pissed because you fucked up and you need someone to blame........
