Oh, I was talking about him fitting with the profile of a disgruntled 35 year old Taco Bell Shift Manager.

I'd rather be that than a fucking loser living out of mommies basement pedaling $40 rip offs where you have to suck someones dick for the rest of their life on GLB once they pay up.

Seriously, $40 wouldn't get you an hour of my time at anything other than drinking your beer. Still, if I had to listen to you while doing it I might pass on the free beer. CV might put up with it for free beer though.

Did someone say Free Beer I'm in....as long as TSE isn't selling time shares

Well I am an experienced homebrewer. I was President of a Homebrewing club when I was in college. I actually have some old beers sitting in my garage collecting dust that you can have for free, but they might not taste too great being about 7 years old now LOL.

They must not be worth a damn if they sat there for 7 years without you drinking them.

Which is more surprising:
A) TSE went to college.
B) TSE was President of something while at college
C) There is a homebrewing club at his college
or
D) All of the above

BTW this question WILL be on the SAT.

I forgot about them for years, it's just one of those things. I stumbled on them just a few weeks ago when I cleaned out my entire garage of bottles and cans. I have lived in my house for about 5 years now and this is the FIRST time I have ever returned bottles and cans from my house, and it got to the point that there was no more room in my garage LOL. I actually paid a high school girl to return them for me and it took her several hours and trips with 2 of her friends helping out.

So they surfaced after removing them. They are all stouts and porters pretty much and I refrigerated a couple and drank them that night and they didn't taste bad and I didn't get sick. I still had one leftover in the back of my fridge and I just opened that one and that one is definitely skunked. I just a half dozen more in my fridge to cool, I'm going to open them in a few hours and attempt to drink.

Why is it shocking that I went to college?

For B, I actually didn't know anything about homebrewing or microbrews and never even knew what a good beer was until college. I lived in a co-ed house and this hot chick I lived with asked me if I wanted to join her club, of which she was currently the President, and I said sure and that I was very interested in homebrewing even though that wasn't remotely the case. See, there's a time where I told a lie, for all of you that like to call me a liar.

After a few weeks I just really enjoyed everything about the club and the art of homebrewing and became a beer snob, I won't buy or drink mass produced beers if I can help it, cause I like to maintain my image of being a beer snob as much as I can. So I was a member of the club for 3 years, also the club rec'd financing money from the university, and when I became President I negotiated a larger payout for the club which was pretty epic.

You aren't intelligent enough or respectful enough to carry a serious discussion with me. The phrasing of your hint in itself shows that you can't distinguish between an opinion and a fact and you fail to realize that an opinion can't be wrong. But I'll name my favorites anyhow, they are Great Lakes Brewing Company (not MI however but a fav), Bells, and Michigan Brewing Company, gotta support the hometown boys! LOL

If you ever get out of mommies basement go get a good micro rather than the b.s. you drink and make. You're barely an amateur at your own hobby.

I'm a HUGE Chimay fan. But you are right I am an amateur at homebrewing, to be honest I wasn't very good at it at all. Our success in brewing was primarily because of one guy who was a bonafide brewing genius. Every week a different person found the recipe of their choice and did the shopping for the ingredients, but the brew sessions were always overseen by him because he was the master of the crafting process. He always tried to explain the differences in different types of yeast and hops, and well we made some good progress at learning why different hops were used for different styles, but everybody was always too drunk from sampling and rating microbrews to ever really pay attention to his lesson plans.

I love me some porters. Drinking a Hacker-Pschorr right now, wish I had a porter or stout in the fridge but I'm out. I'm a big fan of porters, stouts, barley wines, and my absolute favorite are lambics.

If you guys ever get a chance, try St. Georges. It's brewed in Hampton, VA, they have bunch of different recipies, if you enjoy IPAs, theirs is pretty damn good!
