I sort of tested this with my LB build by going high strength with very little in tackling yet. 69 strength, 32 tackling, 11 forced and 1 more in our playoff game. 13 missed tackles on 112 attempts(99 tackles). The only reason Im not entirely sold on this yet is because it was in a 13 capped league and even though the top 12 teams were all planned 13 cap teams(SA BBB1 is a rough league) I cant imagine many of the RBs focused on carrying that much.

I do.

If Carrying decreases fumble chance it is perfectly reasonable that tackling increases it.

Pretty sure Tackling only helps on making the tackle

Few attributes have an effect on only one thing in this game. I would expect that tackling, through tackle quality, may affect the chance to make the tackle, chance to force fumble, chance to make a stop without giving additional yards, the amount of balance lost by carrier if tackle is broken.... again, speculation on our part.

It might in the sense that the more likely you are to lay a hit on the player, or a bigger hit, the more likely he will be to drop the ball.

there's a LB on one of my teams thats a LV 37 and had 45 FF last season. His build is nothing special but he was a machine this year. And his FF's didn't just come against piss-poor teams. he got five in only 2 playoff games

Guys, Bort has openly said tackling directly influences forced fumbles more then any other attribute.

strength influences overall stopping power of the tackle.

if thats the case then the formula really needs to be changed. My LB had 11 forced fumbles this past season and his tackling wasnt over 30.
