The NY-CA Ground Pounders and the Alpine Golfers will be joining USA Pro next season as well.

Welcome !
Looks like Pittsburgh Steel may have a chance of making it up after all.

I think it would take 8 openings for the Naturals to move up.
Automatics coming up to USA Pro
Roughnecks, Ground Pounders, Golfers, and Dallas Longhorns.
The Longhorns are selling this off-season so they are going to free up an at large berth.
My calculations put the rankings for At Large bids as
1) Pittsburgh Steel
2) Indianapolis Gurupies
3) Richey Royals
4) Naturals
That leaves (by my count) 3 Automatics and room for 2 at large bids (due to Dallas and LVFE selling)
So unless there's teams I don't know about, Richey and the Nats are left out.

Outgoing teams are Columbus, Dallas Vaqs, Rage, Madcats (finally), RIRW, and LVFE
Incoming autobid teams are Alpine, NY-CA, and Roughnecks. The Steel Gurupies and Royals move up next - depending on how the conference swap system works, either Steel and Gurupies go to East and Royals come to the west, or two of the teams will be conference swapped with the Royals going to the East and one of the other two teams joining the West.

Which by my estimation will just make another at-large opening.

It will - after day 40 they will go CPU because the owner's term expires. Then instead of promoting they will be relegated to BBB where they will be given to a new owner. What this will do is create an opening for the Royals to move up.

I wonder if people will move conferences. Having the spicewood rivalry in conference, playing the Wolfpack (who have a lot of NY-CA connections), as well as going up against former Golfer Larry Csonka would provide some interesting regular season storylines for Alpine.

We are staying in the east since we moved promoted by winning the conference.
