I'm sure they aren't, especially when you are as busy as FDC. But much as I understand the feeling, I just (for me, at least) don't think I could do that without acknowledging that at least in some regards it is vengeful and spiteful.

There are a lot of guys NOT disrespecting us, and understanding the fact that we AREN'T cheating. It would be wrong to take that from everyone just because a few guys are pissy in the heat of the moment.

This will blow over; when the play gets fixed and we are still a major player, people won't be able to pretend it's because we're somehow not good enough...

for now though, coming to this forum is a major downer. i ran out of e-argument fuel sometime eariy this morning. i must be getting old.

or maybe after 8 straight seasons in the WEPL, the game just no longer excites me enough for me to actually give a shit about what everyone is complaining about

You donīt get any respect from my side for doing this. I have more respect for I % slam than for you. At least they stand straight up and say we are abusing the AI as mutch as it is possible, thatīs the only chance we have to win.

You guys are spaming everywhere how great your team is, how good you are in this and that, you donīt need to abuse the AI to win and so on, your Owner makes special threads to explain that you are not abusing the AI, the players are posting that they want to abuse the AI ( but in the same post praise how good you are and you donīt need to do this) and every posting goes more or less the same way:

We have won - we want respect, we want respect, we want respect - if you donīt respect us you are a sore loser we want respect, we want respect, we want respect and you guys get mad when some people donīt give you any respect for things that my 9 year old daughter could have set up. btw she would have done it better, she wont pass 2 times with 30 seconds left in the game

Man the Pimps in the old days where annoying, but you guys top this by far.

You must live with the fact that you donīt get any respect from some people for what you are doing. I know someone will posting that you donīt care about our shitty respect, but in the end that is what you want, a trophy at all costs and the respect of the teams you defeated to boost your ego.

Truth, Team Perkis would have won it all this season if not for power backs.

But in all honesty the game takes different twists and turns and our team was not built for the power running attack. We adjusted and actually beat some good teams to end the season. I was frustrated all season because of the sim, but there are ways of overcoming it.
We beat 3 playoff teams despite being outlevleed and just did what the sim would allow us.

Next season will be different for sure. I complained plenty of times this season within my own team, but I kept it there. The sim will improve and change next season for sure. Adapting to the style of play that is most effective is the name of the game in GLB.

To make Bort and the admins aware of what is going on is one thing, but to call people out in this league is another. Stockholm didn't cheat or anything like that. They used their strength to beat another good team and that is the way it is.
The sim favors some teams over others every season. I hope there will be a nice balance sometime soon, but I don't expect it. We all just have to roll with the changes and adjust our teams to succeed.

Is any of these teams or players aside from the RB accumulating those stats by running a known broken play 50+ times per game? No? Then you have no case. This is not about inflated stats for a RB, this is about abusing a known flaw in the engine.

In fact what several of us have tried to convey is that we feel that they are a team good enough that they wouldn't need to resort to that cheesy style of play. Which incidentally is why you receive far more flak than other teams doing the same thing. Of course you are far more defensive about it as well.

I've told everyone that I'm bringing my A game and that I speak for the team when I say we're going to make every attempt to win. People are having their fun with us, and that's fine. I expect it from the bleachers. But there are teams I respect more right now for losing gracefully (The Naranjas and the Browns, BFM for example) than those who are bashing their heads against the wall just because we disagree with your philosophy.

The Pimps actually (for the most part) went down with grace. If we lose to I&F, we will stand up, say good game, point out what we did that lost and get ready for next season. If we win, I expect the same from them. The Annihilators were good sports, and so were tons of people.

I put good sportsmanship VERY high on my list. I just don't agree that using our playbook is bad sportsmanship. If you think it is, then there is our fundamental issue at hand. And no one is going to make me stick out my lower lip and cower about my standards for parity. They are articulate and well thought out. If you would like, I'll repeat them again. Make an ethical competitive manifesto, if you will. But by no means would I EVER expect others to live up to MY beliefs; to each his own. You don't have to agree with my standards to respect them.

You still are disrespecting them, and calling into question both our leadership's and our team's moral/ethical quality over a disagreement in playcalling. Mountains and molehills are very different.

tl;dr

The I Slam is very gay, but I understand it and have no problems with teams that say yeah, we know its cheesy but we want to win. You guys are on another level though, you know its an exploit yet you wont admit it. If you would have just came on here and said something like the Ice and Fire guys, you would have been left alone. Don't try to defend the shit.

And to J. Prietman saying we should be punished and not get any FDC write ups....gay. I don't give a damn about the write-ups if it came to that and won't lose any sleep over it just like the other 100+ people on this board. I do appreciate the amount of time he does put into them, but to say we shouldn't get them because we are calling your guys bullshit is pretty stupid.
