We'll get a third team from either AAA2 or AAA1 to replace LFVE, but I think everybody who is gutting besides them already is in the bottom 2 of their conference.

I think we'll see two, maybe three more teams fold after the season's over.

Well San Diego will be a different team next year. For the first time since I have owned not a single starter or backup will be owned by me. This is in large part to us absorbing a huge chunk of the Dallas Longhorns and a few other folding teams. it will be wierd not owning a damn player on the team other than ST fill ins. It took 9 damn seasons but finally got to that point.

Not to mention the fact with agents like BP, Brevo53, Da Raiders and RygyuRB to scheme the offenses and defenses I believe it will be a different team you face.

FWIW - I only mention the Fins because as others have mentioned they are one of the few teams that have stuck with the passing game and if they can pass in this sim, I'm kinda scared to see what they'll do when passing is fixed/power running nerfed.

Not to diss the rest of the teams as they are excellent, but they are all built like the rest of us (more or less) and the Fins are the one team that stands out to make unexpected waves.

Yeah like 250 runs to 750 pass attempts, wow. Looks like a very classy and interesting team and somebody that would be fun to play with.

Are the Fins even going to be around next season? All his builds are open and they're set to Day 40. We've had some crazy games w/ them in the past, including two real close games in Season 3.

Groundpounders are tough too, and San Diego has shown a willingness to compete... hard to say how things will shake out. There will definitely be some disappointed teams, the only question is: who?

willingness to compete? ok. :finger: we should have made the playoffs. a missed 19 yard fg & a sim issue at the end of regulation aganst HHW kept us out. don't you fret, we'll be "willing" next year. we're doing a wee touch of recruiting, we'll be better. the blow outs sucked ass, but we'll get that straightened out.

What if they throw over 85%? Probably using a speed exploit of some kind, and as I recall you weren't a fan of the Galaxy Aces game either... just sayin'.

Well a passing game always has an opportunity for a streak of drops to end a drive or increased INTs, so I think a 100% passing script would be a lot more fun than what we have been seeing. The opposing team has a fighting chance to make big plays and control their own destiny, and the passer is always at risk of coughing it up by putting it in the air, makes for a very interesting and dynamic game imo. The running game is so sloppy in GLB, look at real football, when a team is running out the clock and the defense KNOWS they are going to run, it's high odds to force a 3 and out by strategizing against the run, but in this game, we don't have that kind of control over the players, the system is designed poorly and makes for a crappy game. But with 85-100% passing, anything can happen, and that's exciting and interesting.

Ooooh, that could be an epic bump. Do it. Let's see how TSE has progressed in 5 seasons.

I think the Naturals will be here next season, we pass first, kinda got screwed a bit early on with key guys holding boosts, but found our swing at a good time. Looks like there is no easy wins here and hopefully we can hang with you guys.We have played a few of you before.

If we're fortunate enough to be here I'd be thrilled just to be a #8 seed.

Ideally we like to run a balanced offense. This season obviously we've taken the run first approach but my offensive philosophy really is to have near 50/50 balance. I don't like teams to be able to stack against the run OR the pass.

I can't help but wonder, the sheer ability to shift the defensive line next season alone won't force teams to balance it out some.
