My FS has 40 stamina at level 33 and it's helped me quite a few times, especially in OT games when I play 100+ snaps. I never really spent points on it though, just used it as my second intense category early on when training agility/speed/confidence/jumping. He's still a mediocre player as he was my first on GLB, but he has taught me the value of decent stamina. I can recall one specific time in an important game where it definitely helped win us the game when I made a key pick on my 119th snap of the game in OT.

The point is that just about every top team in the game runs a two-player rotation . . . if you want to play on a top team, they really don't care about your stamina because you're not going to be in 119 plays per game.

i'm going to say not false, the vast majority do. but it doesn't matter, the agent who spends early SP capping STAM will never be on a top team anyway. The issue is why cap stam when you can continue to soft/double/triple cap attributes that you need 60/70+. you really want stam approaching 60? at 44 my stam is 44 and it works fine.

yeah, i have no idea why you guys are pumping stamina. a good team is going to want two good safeties at each position anyway, and there is really no reason to ever spend a SP on the attribute.

If you want to be clever go and cap confidence, it might actually make you a better player. stamina is just going to make your sub-par player be on the field more often.

because I enjoy having my player perform the same at the beginning of the game as he does at the end of the game?

Yeah... but I mean, my player performs better than yours at the start of the game, and just as well at the end of the game =/ And I clearly have enough stamina... almost 80 PPG this season, vs my backups 44 (and a bunch of his plays came from ST).

Not as false as you'd like to believe... Nobody wants a SS approaching 55 or 60 stamina because it's a bad waste of SP. Furthermore, nobody in a good league wants a SS who is a liability because they have under 68 agility/speed...

Why don't you go find some examples of some top teams (successful AAA and Pro) that only use one SS or FS?

If you spend SP to cap stamina at all early, you're going to be slower and weaker than well-built safeties the same level. That's mathematical certainty. Most top teams understand this--in the NFL stamina might be important because the backups are generally far weaker, but in GLB it's better to have two good players play half the game each than one bad game who can play the whole game.

Monmouth Evil Monkeys carry five safeties.

West Scranton Invaders carry five safeties.

Santiago Benitos carry four safeties.

Washington Wolfpack carry four safeties.

Cincinnati Shockers carry four safeties.

Dryden Blues carry four safeties.

Lincoln Navigators carry six safeties.

Krazy Monkeys carry four safeties.

Green Bay Maulers carry four safeties.

Adriana Lima Beans/Halix Stompers carry three safeties+seven cornerbacks (one of whom they play at free safety)

Detroit Demon Lions carry five safeties.

Prague Punishers carry four safeties.

Marblehead Longhorns carry five safeties.

Halifax Explosion carries six safeties.

Most of these safeties average something like 40-50 plays per game. Every single one of the top teams in the game has realized this, that it's incredibly inefficient to run a one-safety system. If you're spending early SP in stamina, these safeties will run circles around you.

stamina is useful even with depth, if you have low stamina it won't make a difference if you have 90 speed because you'll be tired

2 safety rotation still needs capped stamina

As you're approaching level 50... Maybe. Before then? No.

I'd say by lvl 40 you could cap it by training

Training stuff past 40 is really, really bad value.

Enjoy your low stamina in season 9 when your stamina actually drains during plays.

I didn't mean train it the way to 48 that would take forever but by lvl 40 through training and by thta time you have most of the important stuff capped then you can soft cap stamina

We actually had five this season (going back to four in S9).

Stamina is important, though, no matter how many safeties a team carries. FS isn't a position that burns a lot, so it's less important, but SS covers a lot of ground, and having high stamina helps tremendously.
