30 points is probably like 3% at most. No one knows exactly for sure, except for Bort and DD. But it's probably minimal.

All things considered if even a 5% advantage in chemistry were given to one team, and tactics had both teams evenly matched, the 5% could mean the difference in scoring or getting stopped near the goal line. Thats if everything but the chemistry were the exact same.
There are enough teams that are so close in tactics and players even a 3% difference due to chemistry really could push a game in favor of the team with greater chemistry.
Porky, I took a look at that game again and the chemistry gave Maryland about 25 points. The largest factor, other than chemistry, would have been the fact the QB we had starting wasn't that good. So in this case your most likely correct.
