turnit, we don't get a 28-point spot in that TOC Championship game, do we?

Because if we do, maybe we can run something other than SI Slam, which would be neat-o.

I notice you have the wrong number of teams listed for the TOC.

It's not an 8 team tournament, it's a 256 team tournament.

You might want to correct that.

Thanks. Probably even more accurate to call it a 6000+ teams tourney, right?

For the record, Halifax would be VERY down for this. (obviously)

But if you want to do another cheese coin flip (as opposed to a super awesome coin flip) we'll do that also.

I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. Teams that weren't in pro leagues in season 7 weren't eligible for this tournament, teams that were in pro leagues were. What happened before season 7 has no bearing on the season 8 TOC.

meh, silly to get too deep into it really, and I see what you are saying, but it's more just about where you want to draw the line and how far you want to take it out. All of the teams that worked their way up over time to be able to play in pro leagues during season 7 had the same opportunity to do so as many many teams that just haven't made it up over the seasons, so while 6000+ isn't right, I'd say 2000-ish teams have had the chance to be there and, ultimately qualify for this season's TOC.

Really much simpler to just say it was an 8-team tourney.

I prefer to call it 7 teams as Ho Chi folded.

My owner is in Florida on business without internet access until Sunday. I'll sitemail him, but for now let's keep it a cheesy coin flip. If we were to do the super-awesome coin flip, I'd prefer to simply agree not to use SI Slam, but everything else is fair game. To my way of thinking, it still requires some gameplanning ability, but eliminates the worst of the cheese. (Honestly probably only changes the cheese from gouda to bada, but you get my drift.)

Yeah, i really don't think just getting rid of the SI slam fixes things. We could call the SI dive left or weak I slam all game and get very similar results.

I'm open to discussing different options though.

See your sitemail Gart. I can't make this call on my own, and naut is out of town and with limited net access. I sent him a sitemail, and hopefully he can get connected in time to respond.

I was a little worried when I saw that Csonka did not touch the ball for one play, but then I realized it was the last play of the half.

All is in order now.

Don't worry, he wasn't on the field for that play.
