Trying to figure out how these tiebreakers work. I was hoping at the slim shot of a home playoff game, but knew we needed the pimps to lose to create some sorta 11-5 logjam. We had lost to the other 11-5 teams, but we beat the pimps, so I figured if they joined us at the same record, it'd come down to points scored like usual. So we outscored them and beat them, but they get seeded above us? I'm just a little confused as to how that all worked out.

We're poor and really could've used the money from a home playoff game. Anyone wanna bail us out?

The first tie-breaker in a scenario like that is the number of wins against common opponents.

Antwerp: 3-1
Grass Roots: 2-2
Korb: 2-2
Rivals: 2-2
Berlin: 1-3

The three teams tied 2-2 then went to the next tie-breaker which is total points scored (for all games):

Grass Roots: 549 pts
Korb: 534 pts
Rivals: 490 pts

Ah nice, thanks. Wasnt sure if GLB followed the regular NFL tiebreakers or just went straight to points scored since I had been accustomed to GLB using that as the tiebreaker.

Cheers Welsh, I was just as confused. We expected to be at the bottom of a logjoam

Congrats Belfast, that was probably the ugliest first half of GLB football I have witnessed us play so far, seemed as if nothing worked for us on either side of the ball. At least we picked it up a bit in the second half, but of course by then it was already way too late.

Thanks go to the Perkis for beating Turin, which allowed us to sneak into the playoffs in spite of that incredible poor showing.

Thanks a lot. We had a rough start to the campaign and quite a bit of bad luck.
We turned it around though and I'm really looking forward to next season.

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs, its going to be a good one.
