Playoff Picture
Barring anything crazy I think the 1-6 seeds are locked up.
1) Bandar - No reason they should lose to PDP and a W or Singapore L clinches the #1 spot.
2) Singapore - Has the #2 spot locked even with a loss and can only get the #1 spot with a Bandar loss + a Win
3) ESL - Would be interesting if they didn't win but they will.
4) Garudas - The W over Manil was huge and earns then home field round 1.
5) Manila - No reason they should lose. But a loss + Pa Dong win would drop them to the 6 spot.
6) Pa Dong - Have the 6 spot locked up and can move up 1 with a W + Manila loss.

Now where it gets interesting - 1 spots for 2 teams (GUHC has an easy W over a chemistry killed Idols)
Katanas play Pa Dong
Duluth plays P-Funk

With a W the Katanas are in and get the #7 seed.
With a L and a Duluth loss they get the #8 seed.
With a L and a Duluth W Duluth gets the 8 seed and Katanas are out.

In the end I see both Duluth and the Katanas losing.

So Round 1:
Katanas @ Bandar
GUHC @ Singapore
Pa Dong @ ESL
Manila @ Garudas

Granted that I would love to have the 4th seed but I really don't see that happening as well. The good thing is that I will not have the 8th seed and be matched up against Bandar there. So lets just say I'm fine where I'm at now and leave it at that.

It don't matter who you face. We all will have an incredible time with these matchups. PDD has to go up against ESL first round, and the winner of that game would have to go up against most likely Singapore and then Bandar, Krungthep, or Manila...there will be no breathing in these playoff games this season lol

GUHC loses 4 in a row. can they right the ship?

The last two sims, from Singapore's perspective could not have been more opposite. Very strange.

no doubt. Much better than having only handful of teams with a legit shot.

Agreed. I would put Naga's top 8 or 9 against any conference in GLB(except maybe USA Pro West)

Really doesnt matter for Duluth now unless GUFC beats the Idols. WTF GUFC? Sabatage?

But really tho...if Duluth misses out for a second season in a row because of not playing a gutted team in week 1...this game is a fucking joke and a half.

Nagas top 4 vs APL elephants top 4 would be a damn good match up. Our 5-9 seeds would eat them alive but TLGOT, LOL, DD and Sierra Stallions are all pretty bad ass

Have to agree with you there man. Although inter-league is fun/interesting it always seems to fuck over some teams that don't deserve to be.

I mean I realize we obviously shouldnt have put ourselves in this position again...but come on...2 seasons in a row being fucked by the system when we earned our way through? Fucking shit man....

That being said...we still got to play P Funk and this could all be my rant over nothing if we lose....but it just sucks sometimes.

I think ESL could take a ton of teams around the leagues if they spammed Beav Nizzle....thats just what gets me...some of those guys on the committee have wrote ESL off their list when they just arent owning the Season 8 Strong I Power Back system. Hell...some dont think Singapore or even Bandar are that good...its a damn shame really.

Definitely agree with you. The majority of the "top" teams still run 95% of the time and strictly out of the Strong I. A great defense doesn't shut them down rather limit them to 3-4 yards a carry, which just isn't good enough. The point that pisses me off is that we have sent out about 10 scrims in the past 3-4 days and not one has been accepted. Maybe they all want to get ready for the playoffs and such but I would really love to set up atleast one scrim against a "top 25" before the season is over.

And I know Singapore would definitely be down for another league tourny.

Both Singapore and Bandar should likely get the call for the PWT next season...in fact I believe Bandar just earned an Auto invite today by winning the conference. I imagine one of ESL/Manila to likely have a decent case for an invite too...

edit: might have spoke too soon on Bandar...but i cant see them losing to PDP...

Singapore looks a fair bit better than ESL at the moment. LSP, Bandar...

im with g-bay-be, those one-and-done tourneys were fun, and ESL will damn sure be up for one of those. Anything more is too much for our scouting dept (a very small dept lately)

Those are fun...but we likely wont be getting the best of anyone as they will all be taking part in Hazy's tourney, the PWT, or any other tourney out there all the same.
