Ironically, I'm not the one claiming to have the answers. I simply asked if any of the agents had invested heavily into ballhawk with their CBs as that might be a good sign it was/wasn't working. But like the previous poster mentioned, it sounds like a dumb VA. If that's all the evidence there is, then I'm skeptical. So call me great skeptic rather than great leader.

just by reading it,it should be obvious that it is a pretty bad VA. now maybe next year if bort gets rid of attribute VA's then it would be a good 3rd or 4th option.

just think about it....how many PD's do you get? of those how many do you have to jump for? cross all those off, because u cant jump, then jump again instantaneously. how many PD's does your CB have to 'dive' for? cross those off.

then think about it..one the rest of your pd's, would SPD/AGI really help? i dont think it would, cuz the ball usually gets knocked down a lot faster than ive seen any player move.

i think it would work very well for a WR rather then a CB

yea, it seems like one out of every 5-10 pd's the WR will end up catching the pass. but ive never seen a CB get a pick after hes deflected the ball

I guess it depends on the natural level of the four attributes affected by the bonus. If all four are already high it will have a bigger bonus. If you're catching and jumping are 30, 10-15% isn't doing much. If speed/agility/catching/jumping are all 60+, that extra 9 points in each attribute might be a difference maker.

At lower levels CBs get a lot of picks of bobbled passes. But once the WR gets better at catching they tend to go away.

furthermore i don't think a CB is in position to grab tipped passes esp since they are likely the ones tipping it.

i think safeties/MLB would be better at grabbing tipped balls

99% of people in the corner back p.t.forums= clueless.

I have done the exact opposite of what everyone says to do in the PT forums and my level 28 corners have turned out a lot better than the level 45 corner I retired while listening to them.

jumping is overrated. while it isn't bad by any means there are some much better things to be spending points on as a CB.
