Damn you Eastern Conference. There were no upsets. How fun is it to watch when all the teams that supposed to win actually do? Take some lessons from the West. I think every team there lost a game they should have won.

After 13 games, the RPI is as follows:

Western Conference
1 Huskers Illustrated Bugeaters 0.60497
2 Honolulu Beach Boys 0.56600
3 Los Angeles Express 0.56338
4 Timpanogos Thunder 0.53607
5 Tana River Ewoks 0.53590
6 Houston Toxins 0.51639
7 Long Beach Dub All-Stars 0.50489
8 Eugene SLUGs 0.50381
9 Possum Trot Plague 0.50023
10 Dallas Hitmen 0.49044
11 Chicago Inferno 0.48674
12 Seatlle Buffalos 0.48316
13 Minnesota Mountain Lions 0.45619
14 Frankfurt Universe 0.44652
15 Montana Crow 0.40794
16 Spokane Owls 0.39736

Eastern Conference
1 Tecmo All Stars 0.62437
2 Sconnie Badgers 0.58500
3 Brooklyn Legacy 0.57197
4 Chocolate City Saints 0.55320
5 New Orleans Night Trippers 0.53550
6 Awesomeville Bearphins 0.53300
7 New Jersey Blaze 0.51946
8 Buffalo Chips 0.48964
9 Bonita Beef Supreme 0.48066
10 Philadelphia Pigeons 0.47371
11 Tampa Bay Tarpons 0.46694
12 FC Hezbollah 0.46063
13 New Jersey FalCoons 0.44840
14 Charleston Mountaineers 0.43650
15 Sheffield Sabres 0.42444
16 Ole Miss Rebels 0.39736

Not much movement in the East. A few teams switched places. In the West, Dallas was the biggest slide and Long Beach the biggest gain. Overall, not much movement.

It is the way the RPI is set up. 50% of the rankings comes from your opponents record. So you can improve your RPI by losing to the team with the best record. I think you actually improve your RPI more than by beating that team?

hey after week 15 shouldnt the rpi be the exact same as the standings?

upsets would keep it from being the exact same since it 'should' give a boost to the team that beats a number 1 team. Of course what do I know... I am still shooting for the bottom of the barrel to hide again.

no i think apples right since your opponents percantage and oponents openents percantage would be the same for all teams so the only factor would be your own win percantage.

that's correct, same as rankings.

once week 16 gets here though, it will be screwed up slightly because of the west foe. shouldnt change that much, but it can.
