AP Rank for WK 14

1. Moonelves 13-0
2. Spartans 12-1
3. Las Vegas 11-2
4. Anchorage 10-3
5. Nighthawks 11-2
6. NH Hounds 10-2-1
7. Rivermen 10-3
8. Miami 9-4
9. Dallas 9-4
10 New Orleans 9-3-1
11 Mad Dawgs 9-4
12 Collinsville 7-6
13 Austin 7-6
14 LoneStar 6-6-1
15 Portland 7-6

The Elves roll on and remain the AP #1, Las Vegas snatches 2nd in the west from the Nighhawks after only one week, But the rolling Spartans move up to the #2 overall spot. Soaring Anchorage explodes into the top 5 with a 4 game win streak and wins over tuscon and LV earlier this year. They are shaping up to be true continders down the strech.

Key Games:

#4 Maulers AT #1 Elves
A streaking Maulers team with new found gusto rolls into Mithril Hall and its 8440 screaming elves to face off against the top ranked Elves. The Elves seem to be slowing down in the latter part of the season with their PPG dwindling against tough defensive teams, but the raw talent of the team helped them scrape by last week, after mustering only 1 TD against a hot and cold Portland team. Elves are a 14 point Favorite in this matchup.

#2 Spartans AT #12 Pirates
The Number 2 ranked team gets tested again heading to Pirate Stadium in Collinsville to battle the #12 Pirates. The Spartans have battled top 15 teams the past 4 weeks while The Pirates face a top 15 team for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. The Spartans are rolling into the game with the look of a champion winning their last 10, the last four of those were against top 15 teams. Spartans are a 17 point favorite.

#11 Mad Dawgs VS #9 Dallas
The Mad Dawgs are coming off of a tough loss and head into another brutal game against a striker team that has won 3 in a row. Should be intresting. Dallas is the 4 point favorite in this one.

Till next time keep the beer cold and the women topless!

Tough Defensive battle Lost the game due to a punt being grounded on our own 1 yd line. we couldnt get a drive going Austin retrieved the ball on our side(Friggin Punters) and scored the only TD of the game..oh well thats why we play the game. I in no way thought this game was going to be easy.I even stated in my gameplan that it was going to come down to who had the most turnovers or best field position.

It's true, our record isn't that great, we are a few bounces away from a completely different record. We lost to the Strikers by 1 in game 1, and then lost another game by 1 against the SF Gangsters that we probably should have won; and we hung in there with the LV Legends.

Tucson, Anchorage and Silverymoon handled us pretty well...but we are hanging in there.

Good game Dogwar, I was extremely worried about your stud RB.

You guys kept him under wraps for the most part..I think your depth will come in handy for you guys in the Play-offs.Just like in real football when 2 teams are closely matched it will always depend on who makes the critical plays at the critical time. When watching the game on reply i had no idea that Punt in the 1st qtr was going to ultimatly decide the game. LOL i was come on Offense just 1 TD or 2 FG please.

A comparitive look at ranks.

Here is the legit top 10, above is the top 15... He dosent like my top 15 too much and i bust my ass after every game to give you all updated stuff. His is a little behind, but it is a good effort and should not be taken lightly.

1. Silverymoon Elves - Only undefeated team, someone has to knock them off
2. Torrance Spartans - Last 4 wins were against #2-5 in Eastern Conference
3. Las Vegas Legends - Poor loss to Anchorage only blemish except Silvery
4. Tucson Nighthawks - Were #2 until loss to Las Vegas, is offense legit?
5. N.H. Hounds - 6-1-1 since loss to Miami, loss to Torrance, tie to playoff bound(?) Lone Star
6. Miami Canes - 8-1 in last 9 while acquiring great talent, best overall O-line
7. Dallas Strikers - Closest attempt at Silvery, but has bad loss to Portland
8. Anchorage Maulers - Solid team with only bad loss early on to San Diego
9. San Marcos Rivermen - Good record, but against lesser teams, well drawn schedule
10. Raving Mad Dawgs - Poor chemistry can be overcome with their talent acquired

Out - New Orleans Golden Kangaroos - Bad tie to Charlotte drops them from top 10

I agree that it is home team favoritism, but is it justified to have a 9-4 team ahead of at least one other team with a better record when that 9-4 team is 8-1 in their last 9 game with the only loss being to the #2 team in both rankings? We did beat two of the teams you have ahead of us, one of them 35 to 10.

I agree its favoritism b/c when its your team you know silly stuff like that.

Which is why I acknowledged my favoritism straight out. I also acknowledged my mistakes with it too and will continue to do so. If SM Rivermen win tomorrow (as most predict) they will jump ahead of the Canes most likely (excepting legitimately record breaking performances). Part of the feeling out process, if I had done this a week ago to start it would have been bad a week ago and improved. It'll improve now though.

AP Rank for WK 15

1. Elves 14-0
2. Spartans 13-1
3. Legends 12-2
4. Nighthawks12-2
5. NH Hounds 11-2-1
6. San Marcos 11-3
7. Anchorage 10-4
8. Mad Dawgs 10-4
9. Miami 10-4
10. NO 10-3-1
11 Austin 8-6
12 Dallas 9-5
13 LoneStar 7-6-1
14 Portland 8-6
15 Buffalo 7-7

Anchorage falls a few spots after loosing to the Elves by 11,

Collinsville falls out of the top 15 after suffering a 17 point loss to the Spartans.

Dallas falls a spot after loosing a hard game against the Mad Dawgs by 4

Austin jumps Dallas due to a five game win streak and a win over the Dawgs last week.

Key Games:

#2 Spartans Host Atlarge Pittsburgh: This will be a 21 point beating only key because pittsburgh is locked in a 3 way battle to grab that final playoff spot in the east. Playing the Spartans certainly will not help their chances.

#4 Nighthawks Host #1 Elves: The elves have steamrolled anyone and everyone in their way, but their point total has deminished in the past weeks, how long will they be able to scrape by on pure tallent alone? The Nighthawks have arguabley the best Deffense in the league and look to give MVP candidate Alex Johnson a hard day at the office. Can Tuscons running game keep the Juggernaut Elve O on the sidlines? Elves pull it out by 10 in this one.

#6 Anchorage hosts #13 Portland: This game looks close on paper but i think it is going to be another win for the Maulers who are looking for a solid win after loosing last week. Anchorage by 9
