One of the best answers I've seen so far that I agree with.

When would you guys start putting points into carrying? What would you take it to before going back to putting points into speed or agility?

I wouldn't touch Carrying until you've hit the 3:1 Cap in Speed at the earliest.

Just curious..

What all do you think Carrying does for a RB?

Carrying = How well you Rush or Carry the Ball without Fumbling, and Reduces your Chance to Fumble. Also, Carrying has a small chance to Break Out of Tackles.

That is all Carrying does to my knowledge.

Carrying is better then strength for breaking tackles. It was on a test server game.

Carrying>>>Strength and helps prevent fumbles, I also speculate that it can help with overall rushing, like how well you can use a juke and other moves

I agree with what you guys just said, but the reason I said not to touch carrying till Speed has hit the 3:1 at least is, if your creating a new player, this is the best option for long term building.

But, if your playing in a real league and going for wins, I'd have to say the opposite, but when I build any player, the 1st Season or Two is all about development for me.

Anyone feel carrying helps eliminate drops and catch the ball cleaner instead of it fluttering around in his hands.Andhelps him get the ball tucked away quicker so he can start to run?

Yeah, it's part two of the catching motion.

I might be out of my mind, but I like:

1. Speed
2. Agility
3. Stamina
4. Catching
5. Carrying
6. Confidence
7. Vision
8. Jumping
99. Strength

This is for a pass catching elusive back though.

Bort has said that it does a couple times.

The Obvious #1 Choice is Speed, and then #2 Agility and then followed by #3 Carrying.

The Biggest Debate is what comes after at #4 to #6.

Choices are: Strength, Vision or Confidence,

So what does each one do?

Strength: Helps Break Tackles and Less the Impact on Energy.

Vision: Helps to decide to Cut In Side, Out Side, or Tuck In, basically helps you decide where to choose your Running Lane or Change it.

Confidence: Keeps your Morale Up and helps Reduce each Morale Hit, from Tackles, Tackles for Loss, Fumbles and ect.

So, in your opinion, what is more important of the 3?

Check my vision back thread. I have started this in season 4 and everyone laughed at me:

Vision to first cap:
Speed to second
Agility to second
Speed to third
Vision to second cap
agiltiy to third

Now i am caught up between carrying and confidence. i can cap both of them relatively easily (both are in the 30s, carrying is high 30s). i have not had a problem with fumbles, and elusive running tends to cause less of them (unless he stops and gets whacked...but high vision helps keep your HB form totally freezing).

keep in mind that 10 points of my gear are in agility. Just get speed/agility to 80/70 ish and work on getting agility to about 80.

Wait till next season when i go nuts with slippery. I think it will work with a true vision elusive HB. And yes, HBs that are not true elusive, do some Fed up stuff on super elusive. I still have mine on 99 elusive because I don't think he is quite there yet. When vision is third capped, then i will try it. Maybe they can see the sideline then

High vision is not 50 vision BTW.

I pumped vision with my highest level HB and it didn't seem to help one bit. It's almost like she saw too many holes and just danced for a while until finally choosing one. Anyways, now on our Oceania AAA team she's been the best HB by far despite having nearly the same attributes as king's HB except higher vision and a little lower strength. And of course I have more VA's b/c I'm like 7 levels higher. So I think Vision used to be useless but now at least helps when you have pumped SA's. But again it's way too expensive to test so i'll just say what I've done has worked.

^^ define "pumped" your HBs vision. I am guessing its 50 (first cap), which will gimp your HB at his level (unless he is a powerback). I did not notice much help until my HBs vision was at 56. Then when i second capped it...things really started to happen. 50 vision helps from level 11-24. then it needs to be higher.

At level 50, my HB will have 70 vision. Thats "pumped". he has 61 right now at level 34.

Take it from me, I started the vision HB project in season 4 and know the ropes on vision for an elusive HB. Now its season 8 and he has been having great years.

Also, an elusive HB needs SAs, and lots of them.
