str above softcap is necessary, but it could be a greater influence in blocking to pass rush. I hardly doubt that though. Most probably confidence now needs to be soft capped.

from what i've read everybody who capped blocking regretted it, i could see confidence playing a big role though.

or vision...im thinking of taking it to the 2nd cap on my DT, to pass the vision check every time.

For what it's worth, I have a DT with nearly 70 vision and I definitely wish I had used those points elsewhere...

Care to say at what point you wished you stopped?
That actually is great to know, though. Vision is one of those attributes where, at every position, I see a lot of people say to take it to one number (less than 68) and be done with it because it "doesn't do anything after that point"...but I see nobody at those positions with more. I've seen high vision at S, I've seen it at LB, I know it works more when you get more. But I think this is the first I've seen of a d-lineman saying they went over 68.

Its more a matter of priorities than a lack of any reward...I wish I had taken several attributes to 60 instead of vision to 70, for instance. Or taken more SAs.
It helps, but it does not transform your build. And it certainly does not help as much for a DT as it does for the secondary. I had hoped it would help make tackles as the HB passed through the line...that was my primary interest. It does not seem to help much with that

And your D.E. sucks ball too, and you're not giving out any secrets no one else knows either. My guy plays in the BBB's as well but you can certainly notice a spike in his production over the last 4 or 5 games, after doing what he said bra.

Hmm, defintely interested in what sort of things you have been trying. My DE is pushing towards the 40's, so is probably going to start facing the problems with higher level OT's more frequently.

I don't really care what league he plays in. He's having some success with solid one on one competition so yes I'm interested.

As Bluto and puppy dog does with all of my legit sack plays, I quickly check over Bluto's "success" - well, let's just say it's not really equal competition and BBB league has plenty of OTs to exploit.
So like direfire says, if you just want to pad your stats, tell your owner to trade you to BBB league. As for the rest of us that wants to have real success, we'll do our best in tough leagues.

And of course it has nothing to do with you playing lesser OT competitions right?

It's about prioritizing your builds. No one attribute will make or break your player. You need to find the right combination. Vision at 70 while your str at 30, speed at 60, agility at 60 won't do you much good. If your str is already 60, spd 80, agility 85 then yeah, investing in vision will be a wise idea. And I'm just throwing some basics out, it's more complicated when you have to consider all the major and minor attributes, SAs and VAs.

Didn't Mike Rogers run a 'test' (and by test, I mean exploiting his testing privileges to obtain useful info), to see which combo of Spd/Agi was best.
I remember 100Spd/70Agi being the best.
