I'm not sure if it is really a good thing if a CB has 70+ tackles, lol.
As YardDog said Smash Weas has 9 INT. This is an MVP discussion so imho if your team doesn't reflect a top 5 offense or defense then I dont think they can win the MVP award.
Just my opinion, but I think your offensive and defensive MVPs have got to come from a solid team.
I believe the Mole Rats are still tops in points allowed per game, but I don't think I could name a defensive MVP. It's quite the team effort. I mean the top guy only has 45 tackles. As a team we have 29 takeaways, though (not sure how other teams fair). Smash Weas has 9 of those.
My main thing is just that an MVP needs to really be a key factor in success. And success is one of those pesky qualifications that rules out some good players.
EDIT: Now if this were Pro-bowl selections, I might think otherwise. (just remember the Cowboys and Patriots from this past seasons's NFL probowl, though)
