7 of my top 14 were USAPL teams and I think OTR is a top 20 team but it was hard to rank them above other teams because of lack of friendly/tourney games.

No worries.... I'm gonna get busy trying to get some scrimmz set up, but it may be tough....

We're kinda like a Boise St. at this point... The only teams that really want to play us with nothing on the line are the teams below us. I've PM'd 5 owners in the top 25 already, 2 have read without any response... I sent my 1 remaining challenge to one of the teams, and though the owner is online, nothing...

it can be hard. The Wolfpack are close to done with scrimmages. We accepted a couple more recently on my request to allow me to fine tune the offense play distribution. Thats done now. We'll play out our two tournaments, but that's about it unless something unforeseen comes up.

Sik: We're still in both. No idea who's ass we're kicking in the Landry yet.

I would be more apt to mentioning the losses to SpiceWood and Mata-Utu over the others. I give them more props, because they are the only 2 teams that have beaten us without running the ball more than us, so I'm not worried about the other losses, they don't hold much stock to me. And we did lose to the Benitos by 7 but they are a pretty strong team, but again they also had to run the ball more than us in order to beat us, if their play count was flipflopped the other way it could have been a different result.

And when I say run more, I don't mean just a few plays look at our other losses:
CAR - +49 runs on the box score (although obviously sacks are counted)
BA - +30 runs on the box score

SB - +13 runs only in box score (hence ONLY beat us by 7)

But for those first 2 above with the lopsided run count, that means nothing to me and isn't even worth mentioning as they don't deserve any props for beating us imo.

im surprised no one jumped on this

A couple guys did in the main GLB forum so you can check out some of those jumpings over there if you want, but those people only supplied garbage rebuttals by inventing a way to warp its meaning into something they can use to launch an insult.

Rankings are good. I'd possibly drop BDC out...we aren't playing very well right now and haven't beaten any of the top 25 teams we've played. I do think we are right on the bubble though.

This conversation has already run its course. Not worth our time anymore.

Truly, Marauders at 16 behind a team we beat in Prague is pretty funny. We have games against 5, 7, and 8 coming up though so we kind of control our own destiny there.

I wanted to rank you guys higher but three league losses made it tough. MM has played a tough schedule so you should gain ground with more wins.

We've got our shit together and hope to give WW quite a game tomorrow then finish strong.

xcoach2's ballot:

1) West Scranton Invaders Gets the nod at #1 because they're undefeated in regular season and tournaments games though others have played harder schedules to date. Their schedule should work itself out though because they're involved in several tournaments.

2) Lincoln Navigators Only undefeated USAPL team left though they still have the toughest part of their schedule coming up.

3) Monmouth Evil Monkeys Big wins over WW, MM & BSB in the regular season and have looked dominate in tournament play.

4) Santiago Benitos Outside of the loss to Halifax it's been business as usual.

5) Cincinnati Shockers 9-1 in USAPL and friendly/tourney wins over Emmaus, LOL & Korb

6) Washington Wolfpack Looks for real past the halfway mark, still' have big games with Lincoln and MM.

7) Detroit Demon Lions This one was real tough for me because DDL has struggled defending the running game (CHammer, BAB), but but but, they' have league wins over CShock, ***O*** & LVG.

8) Marblehead Longhorns Slight nod as tops in the CPL though ALB & Drinkin' deserve consideration.

9a) Drinkin Hell raisers 10-0 in CPL West and friendly/tournery wins over OTR & Orlando

9b) Dryden Blues 9-1 in CPL East with a tough remaining league schedule but have non league winds over LSP, MUV & Stewart.

11) Krazy Monkeys Undefeated in league play (wins over BAB & Porto) and one of the best teams tactics-wise in GLB. I wanted to rank these guys higher but tourney/friendly losses to Richey & Mean Machine make it tough to do so.

12) Green Bay Maulers GB is a very good team though I might take some heat for ranking them here because they have not played any tourney/friendly matches.

13) Cheating Cheetahs League wins over Halifax & Brown Trout & some nice out of league wins over Top Dawgz, Manila, BSB & SFSF.

14) Minnesota Marauders I wanted to rank MM just inside of the top 10 because I think they're prolly better than 5 or 6 of the teams ranked ahead of them atm but three league losses makes it impossible. Have' played one of the tougher schedules so far of all the USAPL teams. Big game tomorrow versus #6 WW.

15) Adriana Lima Beans Impressive league league wins over Dryden and Halifax but still struggling with USAPL teams in friendly/tourney games. The Beans were hammered this morning by 59 pts to MEM.

16) Halifax Explosion
17) Banzai Pipeline Nites
18. Buenos Aires Barracudas
19) Prague Punishers
20) Porto Alegre Smugglers
21) Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets
22) SO Cal BDC
23) Mean Machine
24) Brazilian Waxers
25) Mata-Utu Voodoo

As far as the way the USAPL West sits, it looks accurate. However, the last few weeks of the season and playoffs could flip it all around.

We've got both Minnesota and Bandar Lumpung coming up shortly, and I think they're each ranked a bit low for what they've done. Minnesota may have gotten off to a slow start but they're top 10 material imo. Wolfpack a bit high for what we've accomplished so far (ask me again next week!), and it's surprising to see OTR wasn't higher on more ballots.

Ya, it honestly does amaze me that they said we weren't even on some peoples ballots. I may be biased but ranking us anything lower than 25th is just flat out ignorant .

TSE, why don't you improve your run defense? And your 38% completion rate on offense probably had nothing to do with you losing either, right? Get over it and improve or you are going to lose to us next time as well.

If you keep making excuses instead of actually improving you are going to keep losing.

OTR and Green Bay were tough to rank because lack of friendly/tourney games. I think both are better than a lot of teams ranked ahead of them but how do you rank them above teams that are playing everyday with tourneys & reg season games? There were too many undefeated or 1 loss reg season teams with active friendly/tourney resume's in other leagues and both OTR & GB have two regular season losses.

On the other hand I completely understand GB's situation as far as friendlies/tourneys and tooley has explained OTR's but it's tough to overlook teams that are playing/game planning every day. Shit, GB was left off a lot of ballots. If you do not play tourneys/friendlies it's tough to make the early rankings...but if you win the USPL championship you're immediately forgiven, lol. Washington in S7 and Boston in S6 played less than stellar friendlies and both were immediately jumped into the top 4 with a USA pro championship.

Not to knock'm but I'm curious who voted for CCCC, lol. I just don't see the top 25'ness in their schedule/results.

The rankings looked allright, I probably would of bumped up a few teams up despite them not playing super tough schedules.

I would be inclined to agree, especially cuz I would regard MM as the the 4th best team in the west (just based purely on performance so far this year) when the 3 teams in front of them make up 3 of the top 5

There is really no point, stupidity just is. Like D said, you don't try to have an argument with a cockroach about why you are going to stomp on it.
