Sorry to see you go, Vegas_Bronco and the Flyin Es...I always loved/hated playing you guys.

This sucks. We started together in season 2 in BBB#6. While we were a couple seasons behind you guys getting up here, it was always fun playing you guys.

Vegas used to be a very active poster starting polls and putting together predictions, etc. I wish Bort would open his eyes up and see the type of people he is chasing off from his game.

I also agree with Vegas that this game is bordering on a scam. I know first hand of several people pondering a lawsuit and from what I have been told they have a legit case on several levels. Bort is just completely disconnected from the owners and has no clue how difficult he makes this game for the teams trying to compete at a high level. Until he realizes this the game is going to continue to spiral downward. I too haven't bought a flex point in quite some time and don't plan on buying anymore. I have plenty of players that i can retire to keep the real players I have boosted up.

I have the same sort of feelings. I'm suffering right now the same as a lot of guys are. I Built my HB to be an elusive back with some power. I'm at the 48 cap on strength. But it's really not working. He can't break tackles at all because people have boosted their D to play against all these guys that took advantage of the state of the game and built power backs. So now even when you have 48 strength and have 10 points in Power SA's and plenty of carrying/stamina you still can't break a tackle. I mean I just wanted him to break a tackle every little bit not to be like these guys with 20+ broken tackles a game. Maybe 3 or 4 a game is all I wanted. I can't even average 1 a game... It's very annoying having a back with so much potential but the game not letting him do very good at all. In my mind he's built just like Bo was like I was hoping for. But it's just not working out.

I am one of the few who is still holding onto my players. I've retired a few to help with the expenses. I think I've got 1 more season of buying left in me and after that it's retiring time. Bort should really pay attention to atleast the pro leagues forums. He should see this and see that even the elite teams like the Elvis' are saying no more. Maybe that would give him the desire to make the game right. Hell I would be happy if the game would just go back to the way it was 2 or 3 seasons ago. Atleast then it was an open competition not just a one breed takes all.... I think I've gone on too long already so I will stop now BTW - Wish you the best Vegas. Didn't know you much but it looks like you were a pretty good agent.

I just retired one of my players and got enough Flex to boost all of my low level players. I will be retiring 4-5 players this off-season that should pay for my boosts next season.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat. It seems like Bort has no idea how close he is to losing a huge part of this game's user-base. He really needs to get his head out of his ass if he wants to keep this game afloat...which is what I'm sure all of us want.

The other issue is damages. The problem here is that this is an entertainment game, with no prize money on the line. That severely limits the "inducement" argument (spent FP on the premise of playing a fair game).

All a lawsuit would hope to do is to either shut down GLB or raise prices for current players. There is no hope of a recovery.

When he had the 2 for 1 flex sale, I vowed I'd never buy flex again, and I have no intentions of breaking that vow. I've been living off of retirement ever since. When that runs out, I'll be done...Unfortunately, I spent an embarrassingly large amount on the first 6 ssns. So, I'm set for a long time.

Frankly, I don't believe he gives a fuck about any of us that have been around since ssn 1...He till has fresh blood coming in and they don't know any better.

Yeah the lower leagues are booming because there is no one taking advantage of the powerbacks. So I think newcomers will still like the game a lot. But there aren't always going to be newcomers. It's just like a cellphone company or an insurance company giving newcomers these great deals and specials and not giving the people who have been with them for the longest any kind of break or discounts.

IMO, Borg get's a lot of blame for this stuff, but it's not completely his fault that all people want to do is exploit whatever they can in the game..

True, but the way the game works, a LOT of stuff is exploitable.
