I mean, everybody is saying good game, but was it really?

This season is atrocious.

Can't say it was a bad game. With both teams being almost 100% run, I knew it was going to come down to whoever failed to score first. We fumbled twice very close to each other...one was returned for a TD...another set up a TD. We never recovered from that.

This.

Was it a good competitive game between two outstanding teams? Yes. The win was well earned.

Was the gameplans required to be this way 'good', and what we all really want to see going forward? Of course not.

People continuing to whine about this are simply wasting their time. everyone agrees it's garbage.

I'm with Sik,

I don't think it's an "ideal" game, but given the constraints of dotball it was a good game. It's kinda like 3 yards and a cloud of dust, or a pitcher's duel in baseball. Maybe not very aesthetically pleasing if you like a "pretty" game, but for those of that understand what it takes to win it was a masterful display by both teams with the WW coughing up the ball twice to put their plans for an upset on ice.

Flint got a TD catch, so it'll shut him up anyway

I mean, it was just two great, balanced teams that had to play bortball because of the sim...

I hate that.

WW have been run heavy since Islander because our OC about 2 seasons ago. If you look at last season, all our games were just like this.

eh, pretty much. We've got the horses, especially this season with the Street/Partlow combo. Our normal AI will throw more in favorable down and distances. Today we didnt even do that. Today was, by far, the highest run percentage though.

I do open things up a lot more as the score allows. Least I can do tbh.

They tamed WW's beastly QB.

But he will be unleashed again

I think we should just put a hit out on Csonka.

Did I say that out loud?
