With the way the SIM is right now, I would agree. However, I'm still going to wait until season 11 or 12 when he actually starts playing competitively and see then. I don't want to buy it now and then have to change it later.

So he's a NT, right?

he's still being built to be backup to both. Team isn't even trying to compete yet and won't for 2-3 more seasons.

I was thinking about splitting equipment and then 4th capping speed after agility goes over 80 and I train it over to 81.xx. If SIM keeps heading in same direction, I'm going to change my plan and go all strength equipment and 2nd cap tackling before 4th capping speed.

He won't have any SAs before level 48, and it may be 50-52 before I start adding them if I have to 2nd cap tackling. I also want to cap stamina, vision, and confidence before working on SAs.

If I were you, I'd take advantage of those natural level ups and work on Tackling before Speed, anyways.

Def. But I was just going to 1st cap tackling. Train it, and then leave it. Now I think I'm going to second cap it and train it.

If you first cap it now, then let the level up bonuses do their thang, then 3rd cap Speed, then come back and push Tackling to the 2nd cap, you lose out on value. If you plan on 2nd capping tackling, just do it right away.

Well that's the big thing. I was debating on whether or not I was ever going to 2nd cap tackling at all. I'm not so sure I really need to.

You only lose out on value if you plan on actually taking it higher than 61. If you'd be happy with it being right at the cap for his entire career, it doesn't matter when you cap it.

So, I have decided to go with speed for his equipment at the moment (it's still cheap enough I can change my mind). I only have +9 in it right now. I'm thinking when he gets up in level with 85+ natural strength and agility, I can add pass rusher and ability VAs on top of that. Then get speed up to 73 natural and put all equipment into speed.

Lvl 28

natural attributes
Strength:80.88 Blocking:15.05
Speed:36.05 Tackling:44.88
Agility:80.88 Throwing:8
Jumping:9 Catching:8
Stamina:28.05 Carrying:8
Vision:15.05 Kicking:8
Confidence:15.05 Punting:8

Changed mind on equipment. 1 piece is +speed, rest is +agility.

Also, with build plan, I have decided I will cap tackiling at 29, then cap speed at 31. Both are set to roll over. I'm going to train stamina/confidence until I have opportunity to boost. Then I plan on training speed/tackling until tackling is 53 and switch back to speed stamina until speed is 53 and 94+% trained, before taking speed up to at least 74, and I'm still probably going to shoot for 79.
