The numbers dont lie, look at the top QB's this year compared to last year, its NOT even close. Grady Ryan being the only exception(still a big drop in yards but everything else is pretty much the same)...
I think the passing needed a fix, but I feel that it is terrible timing as we are halfway through the season and teams have already figured out what works and what doesn't, and to absolutely change the offense 180 degrees is absolutely unfair to teams with that good power back. Now instead of the final 8 weeks being the "down the stretch" weeks, teams are now trying to figure out new strategies once again to be successful. I know I have already scheduled another friendly with a similar opponent of PDD from SA so we can test things out, because now we need to rethink everything as if we were in the first week or 2 of the season.
Also the only teams that wanted the fix was teams that don't have a power back on their team, so the 2 sides even out don't they
. Not only that, but most power runnning teams have good QBs as well, so I am not complaining about the power running game being nerfed as much as the timing of the whole thing.
Actually I have a power back at my disposal and I would like the sim change.
