It's one thing to build your player AFTER another... but to name it that and then completely botch the build and make it so they're absolutely nothing like the player is another thing.
As far as me being a hypocrite... that's far from it. All of my names have come from either band names, album names, songs, etc. Sure they may have some sort of "copying" involved but they are a hell of a lot more interesting than running into a billion Primetime's or Ed Reeds.
You can't judge something by it simply having a Lion or Freight in the name.. there's a little more to the names that may have Lion or Freight Train in them than the typical NFL star BS. If it matters... I was planning on retiring them shortly. Although I did not choose their names because it had Freight Train or Lion in it.
This is a free game and every has their right to name their players however they wish... I just think it's boring and lame to have DBs filled with Primetime's, Neon Deon's, Ed Reed OMGz, Nut Myself Over Dawkins, Deion "Can't Have Enough of Neon's Pepsi Commercials" Sanders.
Look me over with a magnifying glass if you want... but I never once have had to deal with an OMG my name is taken incident.
