That is entirely possible and I would also be frustrated if my team was rolling along like yalls in previous seasons and now we were getting slaughtered.

However it doesnt help the sympathy and desire to help out your team the way they have acted .. otherwise people might be willing to lend support, even with how poorly your team has behaved, its likely that people would still be willing to help yall bounce around ideas.

I don't think anyone on my side wants sympathy or help to be quite honest, we have the resources internally to get the job done, we just need to (and will) do it. We're not in here crying about it.... I just find it amusing that teams we've smacked around for years (nthomas comes to mind) are suddenly stepping up and talking crap because we've fallen for one season, but I suppose that is a price of success.

For the most part we know what needs to be done, or are reviewing it internally, it's just a matter of time to get it taken care of.

From a build standpoint, the fact is we had the large part of our boosting completed before we figured out the effects of the new sim, we didn't think anything of it, because the announcement didn't make it out to be nearly as major as it was. That obviously isn't a quick fix.

As for strategy, that's being worked on as well, it's just honestly becoming more like work than a game anymore, so it's taking some time to get everything fixed and 100%. For example, I've spent over 10 hours adjusting my teams base defense (that I've used successfully with only changes based on the team we're playing for the last 2 seasons), and frankly I'm STILL working it out.

I think adjusting tactics will make us "okay".

Trust me when I say we have some key areas we REALLY need to strengthen and adjust to get back in the game and where we were though.

Did yall lose any major players? Last season every game we played was pretty close and we would just lose out due to lack of proper tactics. What exactly has changed this season taht is killing your builds?

this year its the power running game. too bad our power RB switched his build when bort killed that off a few years ago

we will tweak things but hopefully it can get turned around for season 9.

since we are one giant forum, we mirrored each others successful builds. now that the ideal build has changed, which means all of our guys at that position are hurting.

inb4 nthomas and his complaining about the misc. too bad his team sucks and the only reason he is in EE Pro is bc he requested it. fail!

We didn't lose anyone per say. However if you look at just defensively.

Last season our starting DE's had 210 TKL 126 Sacks 105 Hurries.

Through 5 games this year they have 36 TKL 13 Sacks 8 Hurries.

Pretty substantial difference which affects both our pass defense in giving more time to throw/letting teams actually get a pass off, and our rush defense in closing off the edges and letting backs turn the corner.

Yes, please share your vast knowledge with the rest of the group and let us know how it's supposed to go.
