don't worry about it dude, its do to our level. your agility, vision, confidence, carrying, and strength all suck right now, and they all play into your catching chance to varying degrees.

agility, vision, strength, confidence, carrying is the order of importance I would rank these in order to make a catch

Wouldn't catching be important to make a catch?

He has over 59 in catching, so that is not the problem. He could probably have 80, but whatever is causing it would still cause it.

Edit: I re-read the post. I think gtthorn is referring to what he thinks needs improved, not that catching isn't needed. But it's already good enough.

My TE is dropping a lot of passes this season too. He has never had more than 6 drops in a season, and already has 4 in the first 5 games.

Catching, Vision, Carrying all over 40. Sticky Hands at 5

I suggest catching to the 3:1 cap. I've only had one drop each of the last 3 seasons since I brought catching to the 3:1. Also vision has been made more important for receivers this season (says the Bort), I suggest getting that to the softcap as well.

I don't know. I've had 1 drop this year and 1 last year. My Catching is 55, Vision 49, Carrying 35, Sticky Hands is 3. 14 catches this year, and 66 last year.

So either there's various things that can cause it, or we need to look deeper at our stats.

Well, I just used my last 10 skillpoints on hopefully solving this. I brought my stickhands to 6, upped my catching a couple, and got my confidence up higher as well.

I'm hoping to find a piece of AE with SA one-hand-catch.

Yeah, I meant after catching of course.

For example, my slow build TE has 50 plus catching yet drops tons of passes - this is because is auxiliary skills are all the suck. I would;t worry about drops until your third season or so, because up until then your build won't be fully functional no matter what.
