Thanks a lot for the advice guys. I really appreciate it.

I leveled and put 6 SP into Superior Vision, bringing it to 7. I hope that works.

Next on the agenda is Change Direction, since it's relatively inexpensive and I can bump it up a couple of times with my token boosts before I level again (and will then be able to get it to 5 or 6).

Shutdown Corner will probably be next, and honestly might have to wait until my Season 9 boost.

As for VAs, I'm going to try Track Star.

Again, I appreciate the help! If you have more suggestions, please feel free to keep them coming. I don't want to bump a thread all about my guy, so if you want to know if any of these things helped me, watch the game footage or PM me and ask.

looks like you have a pretty good build, but you are pretty slow for a CB i would boost that till 100

I'm not sure why so of you guys are satisfied keeping jumping in the low 50's. If you want more PD's, up jumping.

and speed is overrated. no need to get it to 100.

I disagree with FB

Personally I think you are too slow, if you were on our team you would be highest lvl CB but also slowest, and every single one of our mid 40's lvl WR are faster then you.

Is speed everything ? no but at lvl 50 a DB should have 100+ speed, If I were you I would focus on speed and vision

watch game film...how often do you see a CB being beat simply because of speed? very rarely. It usually involves a fake of some kind (vision), one of those underthrown passes that the WR adjusts to but the CB doesn't (agility), or the WR just snagging the ball even though he's draped (vision/jumping).

The number of plays in which a WR simply outruns a CB during his route is astoundingly small.

A CB can get away with being 10 to 15 points slower than a WR without a problem.

Speed and jumping are low. Speed > 85, Jumping > 50. I'd start there and those should be attainable within the next couple of levels.

Yeah, it's amazing how many people still think Speed is the end-all-be-all CB attribute.

They are sadly mistaken.

This.

And your stamina should be higher.

vision+agility = reaction time

reaction time is MORE IMPORTANT than speed

Needs more vision and jumping pretty badly. A little more speed wouldn't hurt, but definatly isn't the top priority to the build.

For those that came in after the fact and didn't catch on, the build on the front page is rounded down, some attributes much more than others.

If you'd like to offer more help, say exactly what you think speed, vision, jumping, stamina, etc. all should be. That way people who reference this thread in the future have a better guideline. For me, I think I've got a decent amount in some (although not all) of those areas and the rounded down numbers are throwing y'all off.
