i didnt really mean it as a jab at you per se, the term "gutted" does carry a certain malisciousness... it's just a big disapointment is all, after an offseason peppered with them.

I understand. My point is, teams being abandoned are just another symptom of the real problem.

the game does seem to have lost it's luster and I have found myself reflecting on why I am so invested in such a dissapointing product. Much like my relationship... I think I'm gonna go listen to some emo music. lol

I get the feeling that many of the GLB people think that we should just be happy and great full that the game even exists. When I bought fallout 3, which I still have not beaten because I hear the ending sucks, I did not send a thank you note to bethesda, I sent money and that is enough.

People speak with dollars and I think there are an awful lot of people who already have.

I just do not think Bort realizes that:

32 teams in a league and 1 wins that means 3% of the game wins. 3 freaking percent.

Combine that with the fact people tend to win more than one championship and people tend to stay on successful teams and means that probably less than 20% if the game has ever won or been to a championship game.

Trophies, my god only about 4 or 5 percent of the league get trophies and many times they are the same people who are on very successful teams.

When 80% of thecustomers get no rewards for their money effort, and times what does he expect will happen.

This is a browser football game, it is suppose to be fun. The cost in money, time, and effort, is all very high and the reward is very small.

Oh well, maybe something will change.

If anymore teams won, I don't think I would be as interested in winning.

My issue with endorsements are that people are getting thins like: +2 agility, +2 jumping, +1 speed, +1 Closing Speed SA, AND
+1 Shutdown Coverage SA for getting lucky.
An addition like that based 99% on luck is complete bullshit. I mean come on +5 to SPs and +6 to SAs.

I agree, the bonuese are wayy to big. A nice +4 to an attrib, OR a +2 to an SA something would be cool, tokenish, and suffice imo

Fair endorsement IMO is +3 to SPs, +1 to SA and truck load of cash.

obviously only one team can win. However, an entire game built around 80% of the customers receiving little to no rewards is not going to last long term. There are places where the game can have limited prizes, endorsements does not need to be that place.

I see no reason why endorsements cannot be just another way to build your player. Why not let everyone have one and make it something fun for everyone in the game.

This elitist attitude about who deserves items and who does not is just silly.

well, i imagine they are how they are because they're tiered. a pro league endorsement should be better than an AAA, which is better than AA and so on. part of the impetus is to give people more reason to play in pro leagues at higher levels, so i disagree that they're too powerful.

bandar's FS got one, and on the strength of that one endorsement they wont be beating us this season. the problem comes when a team has half their guys on the field sporting them, then we're in the land of the outrageous.

Ricky Watters deserved better

each team should have gotten 1 endorsement handed out to 1 of there players.

New endorsement system is gonna be something like this. Which is odd because I discussed doing this exact thing with my buddy who is an alpha tester on Wednesday...
