All $50,000 that the players on the winning team get? (I think that's what it is off the top of my head). That level of money is nothing to a Pro team.

No, not free. They still have to pay the 25 SP. But, top teams generally scrimmage other top teams anyhow.

im not really sure how its messed up....they arent forcing people to have this trophy and defend it....if you want the trophy you will defend it.

It's just a small little incentive, the big prize is the trophy the top team gets and I believe the MVP of the top team gets. Would be a very prestiges trophy to have IMO.
