+1

Nizzle was third in the voting, and that's where he belonged. Sorry, but he put up very similar stats to the 2nd place winner (Yuri the Axe), despite of having a 8-10 level advantage on Yuri all season (and being on a team that outleveled Yuri's by several levels as well). You have to give the nod to the lower leveled guy if the stats are roughly equal, and that's what the owners decided. I suspect if Yuri was equal level to Nizzle, he would have doubled his output.

Have to do better this season, or it will be a whine-fest all over again.

-8.5 yards per rush vs 6.1
-57 td's vs 44

forget about doing my taxes, i guess you arent very good with numbers at all.

also, if beav was level 56, his stats would have been higher as well.

What about the other back? Their are 2 slots and if I had a vote it would have been Nizzle and Yuri. Those 2 are the best in the league. Nizzle gets no credit for the ability to do it year after year. Really what difference does it make, I suppose getting attention from faceless people is really unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

I guess pro bowl is for best supposed build not for the best stats put up throughout the season.

I think the overall competition on Naga was better...therefore Nizzle had to face harder competition throughout the year.

Thanks to everyone voting Wendell. I honestly thought Nizzle would take it because he's been a name here for many seasons and had the TD lead. I'm just glad that Wendell was able to compete at 3 levels lower and help my team and Garuda (not the overrated Naga) take home the trophy.

I can only hope that Wendell will have the same success in CPL this season. It was fun in SEAPL and I wish everyone the best of luck this season.

LOL, most of my clients feel a "creative" accountant is better than an "accurate" one...

Beav is a great back, and it was a close competition, but the each team got 1 vote (whether they used it or not) and that's the way things shook out.

Yuri was the 2nd string back, and was under 40th level all season long and still punished defenses several levels his senior game after game... I think accomplishment like that deserves recognition, and I'm glad the other voting owners felt the same way.

Without getting into a "which conference is better" debate, Nizzle and Brown each faced a couple of common opponents during the regular season and Brown put up better numbers in those games.

So while Beav may have put up more overall statistics, when you make an apples to apples comparison, I thought Brown more than held his own and that's why he got my vote.

Now, I should think about changing my vote since he left SEA Pro

Edited because I'm an idiot and had a few errors in my numbers

and yes, I voted before the schedule came out and I saw we'd have to play Beav in week 1

Without getting into a "which conference is better" debate, Nizzle and Brown each faced 5 common opponents during the regular season with Brown facing one of them twice. Those opponents included BLPP, LSP, the Hitmen, Blood Pandas and Portland.

Here's how each of them fared against those common opponents (per game averages):

Nizzle- 73.6 yards, 1.6 tds
Brown- 115.6 yards, 2 tds

So while Beav may have put up more overall statistics, when you make an apples to apples comparison, I thought Brown more than held his own and that's why he got my vote.

Are you adding preseason scrimmages in there? Really?

Wendell and Beav did pretty similar against similar opponents...Wendell got some decent carries against teams...I guess I can understand the pick tho after looking through it.
