I'll second, Antonio Perkins. At least the earily favorite for a DEF. MVP.

Watch out for Big Diesel and Steven Fletcher, I expect big things from those two.

I hope my LB for the Louisiana Blackbears, Clint Oris, does well on the defensive side of the MVP race, although I don't think he will be on the field enough to put up big sack numbers.

It's tough to be on the field enough when the other team goes 3 and out and punts 20 times a game.
And as far as DEF MVP, Shawn Bradberry is still around, top 3 in INTs past 2 seasons.

Perkins got you on this one, tops in INT's last 2 seasons. Hope he can repeat that this season. Also hope he can get over 75 tackles, and if he gets to return maybe 3 TD's. Gresham is a stretch, he was a beast 2 and 3 season ago, but now people are shutting him down.

Last 2 seasons for Bradberry:
110 Tackles, 13 INTs, 231 yards returned and 4 def TDs, 65 PDs
121 Tackles, 13 INTs, 253 yards returned and 3 def TDs, 89 PDs
Perkins:
107 Tackles, 14 INTs, 366 yards and 5 , 41 PDs.
75 tackles, 17 INTs, 533 and 11 TDs, 72 PDs.
Looks like you've got him in the INT and TD category. He's got you in the Tackle and PDs categories.
It should be a good season.

I don't really pay much attention to the stats in this game, so I may be off base here...but does it seem unusual for guys in the secondary to have that many tackles?
Usually when corners and safeties have that many tackles, it is an indictment on the front 7 of the D.
I'm sure that numbers are way skewed on this game, though.

haha, ususally, but probably half of bradberry's tackles were on Kickoff team.

Which would put you in about 9th or 10th in the Western Conference.

Yup- if we had started in the east we'd have easily promoted by now- but I guess it is better this way, now when we do promote we will be fully ready to compete and win in the next level.
