Quick cut has nothing to do with making tackler miss. It just allows the TE to make bigger cuts and lessen the loss in speed when doing so.

SAs aren't particularly valuable, at least not for receiving TEs (which I have). Much better to focus on attributes.

As for VAs, Track Star and Quick are probably the best, followed by either Sure hands or Soft Hands.

The only problem I would see is that you normally don't have any momentum to power through with. As a TE, the big issue is breaking tackles within a yard or 3 after the catch, generally.

My thinking as well, but there are a few flat short routes that allow them to turn up field and build up some steam.

I'd really like to get a jump catch, one handed catch, or diving catch SA for my receiving TE.

Went shopping today after I leveled up to 32. Had 9 shopping token saved up and after 8 tokens were spent the best thing I had been offerened was a set of +2% catch ball chance gloves. With my last token though I came up on a 1 handed catch set of shoes. It was only the SA with no other bonuses but I'm pretty happy to have it. Already boosted it up to a +3 speed, +2 one handed catch item.

I was blessed with a First Step piece of AEQ, once I get 7 more tokens it'll have +4 First Step. I also rolled a +1 Juke that I may or may not boost, I heard Juke DOES work when running routes. I hope it does.

Juke doesn't work when running routes.

Bort says it does but it's a lie.

First step or Quick Cut are two best... First step if you run more deep routes and Quick Cut if it's shorter routes.

End of discussion.

Just rolled +3 Catching with First Step piece for my blocking TE. I will be passing on it.

I'm thinking of dumping my stiff arm.

I've got a +2 stamina, +1 jumping catch SA; or a catch ball chance +5%.

Any opinions on these 2, or pass and try for something else?

At this point I have no opinion at all unless of course you can roll a +1 to playing powerback piece. Then you'll get some love

I like the +5% catch the ball piece, you get an additional 2% chance added to it every time you upgrade. I have one and it is at +14%.

I rolled +2 agility and 3% fake chance for my lvl 43 receiving TE. Should I go with that or keep looking?

At this point, I would take DAGWOOD13's word and look for a %catch ball. I wish i had one.

Keep looking.

TE's have no ''fake'' SA to take advantage of that piece of equipment
