He said he ran a 4.31 when he was 16, now he's 21, so maybe his timed speed now is different. Plus, maybe he didn't time himself, he's probably getting that number from a coach, that may or may not know how to accurately use a stopwatch or tell the truth to his players, coaches do that all the time. There was a story during the NFL combine one year that showed that coaches couldn't accurately time 40s the way the computer clocks did. Too much room for human error.
