Actually I came across one of our players who is All Star worthy, our Kicker Adan Dust.

Second most FGs made in both conferences, at a higher percentage than Rip Manstag who made more. Both misses came from more than 40 yards, and he essentially won several games for us.

As an alternate, maybe.

Rip's not missed a kick under 50 yards all season long, most FGs made in both conferences and has also won several games for the Warriors.

Making a case for my own guy.. I have 0 Int's but i have more deflects then tackles.. 32/30 and im sure 40% of my tackles are from running plays meaning i haven't piled up the INT's but i have shut down half of the field

im nominating Tubba Bubba of the Multiple Scorgasms.. DE. Full player stats says he has 3 sacks but he has 4.

Also, Maximus Entopolus at DT for the Scorgasms is also a monster. Has a ton of hurries this season which lets our defensive backs come in and make plays on errant throws:

And he has 5 levels on Dust

I won't argue though that Rip Manstag would be a very worthy All Star, in the end I'd think the two missed XPs by Dust would be the decider in favor of your guy, luckily they did not matter much in the game they came in.

Shouldn't people be disallowed from nominating themselves?

Sorry, #3 at best. Less FGs made than either Manstag or Dust, one more miss than Dust and same as Manstag, and missed one from shorter range than either did. Both made over 90% of their FGs, you sit at 88. Also missed two XPs, Manstag missed none, Dust two. And compared to Dust there is that level thing again Certainly not bad numbers for you, but I don't think you quite match up with the other two guys at this point.

Too bad jose plays for a good team so he dont get to kick all those field goals cause we actually make it to the endzone. Luckily you guys have good kickers on your teams.

Bartholomew Longshanks

No kicker with at least 10 FGA has a better percentage.

FWIW, I also agree with Strongbad. For that reason, I nominate Tank Smasher for HB.

He doesn't have the most yards, but he's a flat out beast. Not going to dig up all the games, but this is from our game against Nice this morning, where handled players of similar levels.

So you are saying the Warriors and Mercenaries aren't good teams? That's some fighting words, especially as you have yet to play either of us!

Oh, and good defensive teams don't need to get into the endzone as often

the 5 levels is very important though i would say. manstag hasn't missed a fg lower than 50 yards all year and is damn good at 50 yarders. your guy however cant kick 50 yarders and the cpu knows it. your team will just punt rather than go for a 50+ yard fg the kicker doesn't stand a chance of making. so i wouldn't really consider him an all star yet. when he gets his leg strength up and starts kicking thoughs 50+ yarders then maybe if he keeps his accuracy

Yards allwd//Td Allwd//Points Allwd
Woodridge 1287.5::4:::53
E-city 1219.5::5:::92
Warriors 1861::10:::164

Yupp I agree, good defensive teams doesnt have to make it in to the endzone as often.
We do it anyway though.

Actually he would have had very few opportunities to make 50+ yarders anyway, that is a range our drives rarely stall in. We have only 6 more punt attempts than the Warriors, for a near identical average, and only 4 less attempted FGs. That does not leave much room for 50+ yard FG attempts that the Warriors took and the Mercenaries didn't.

I agree though that Dust still needs to show at some point that he can make those 50+ ones as well. But if you take into account the lack of skills for strength then you'd have to do it too for accuracy, and in that category I think there is little arguing that he is good and All Star caliber. As I said, I'd probably give the nod to Manstag anyway, but aside from him no other kicker has converted or attempted as many FGs from 30+ yards as Dust, so I think your argument holds little water.

Teams are certainly having trouble gameplanning a way to pass on the Knights.

Erm, no

But I agree, Raekwon Jackson is the one CB that has given me most headaches so far

Not sure if any Mercenaries player belongs in the All Star discussions so far, in most cases it's more of a team effort than anything.

Thanks for givin Raekwon some love. I just signed two more years with the Knights so the headaches will continue.

I cant nominate my guy, since stats are not really his thing...mostly because the ball never comes near me
