Nah, its good advice imo. I do commend your reading comprehension skills though, which are vastly superior to someone's.

Btw, coachlock1 who's the owner of your team's star WR and one of your team's GMs, would likely tell you that I know my shit (seriously ask him about me. ).

I can assure you that its not silly advice, so I implore you to keep an open mind.

Best of luck though of course budster.

Oh, and just BTW, I am not necessarily telling the OP (before he so rudely was rude) to not have all his equipment on throwing. Rather I'm saying that he should keep an open mind, rather than blindly following the accepted practices of most QBs...

well, for one , bullet passing went to shit this past season...
for two, don't feak out about it so much, next season will be TOTALLY different, trust me, .... (if these vision changes to QB and WR get implemented and are actually functional, watch out!)

I don't think people "blindly follow the accepted practice". The reason you put all your equipment into throwing is because it is mathematically the best way to maximize your points.

Don't retire, get on a team that can protect you, and cap agility, with your boosts. and put all equipment back in throwing. imo.

do you favor the long pass?

but i would say get vision higher.

Weren't you the one with the snide remark that made him act rude in the first place?

No, I merely pointed out that he can't read because at the time he could not read...

I have to disagree with you on a lot of people being sheep. There's a reason, for instance, that a shitload of WRs have soft-capped vision, and that reason isn't because vision is freaking sweet for WRs.

At any rate, you saying that its mathematically the best way to maximize your points is just hearsay. If for instance you have 3rd capped strength, throwing, and vision, there is nothing in math to say that having all your equipment in throwing is better than a split between the 2 or 3 attributes. Those points costing more because they are higher up does not in any way infer that it is where they are best spent...

*edit* to be clear I'm not attacking you or trying to be rude in the above...

I'd imagine a shitload of WRs have soft-capped vision because it's one of the major skills for that position. I dunno tho, I've never built one.

But yeah, what you're saying is true. It depends on how you value each attribute. A lot of people value throwing so much that it makes sense for them to stack all equipment into it. When I read your post I imagined one of those builds where every attribute is highlighted blue.

A lot of it actually depends on what league you are in, the quality of defenses you are facing, the offensive planning, the quality of the team around you. Changing rot for the last season helped my qb's performance. but i also focused on developing my qb to fit the owners scheme.

defnitely drop the first three points of each equip into throwing. then adjust as your build progresses. if it becomes neccessary to drop a point into vision go for it. but i would not divide equip to any other stat than vision or throwing. but make sure you do an analysis to determine sp versus equip pt comparison to see if it would be better to spend sp or equip pts on it and how important is it long term to have that skill point now.

it seems the big debate at current is vp capping throwing or quick release. i would say aim for 60 str, 90 throw(95 long term goal-but varies depends on vp), 70ish vision, 50ish confidence, possibly soft capping agility and stamina.

don't fiddle with your equipment. try to get it right the first time. the money you take away from others on the team don't allow them to be as good as they can be and help your qb.

be ready for some season where your qb doesn't do so well. it takes time to build a qb well and not all seasons are going to be good. seems like you had a good idea for sa's but i wouldnt go so heavy in pump fake next build.

The build looks solid, it was your team that was bad.

and Pump Fake is the best SA for a Long Pass attack, how does everyone not know this. 3 seasons ago Bort had to nerf Pump Fake because it was too good. It is still very affective if you like to throw the long ball. My QB has Pump Fake as his highest SA(with Field Gen).

You've got about 12 wasted sp's in stamina, about 16 in strength and about 20 in vision. Your SAs are too low, your throwing (which i don't believe in as much as most people) should still be over 90 for a level 46. And while I don't buy into the myth that your team around you has more to do with your performance than your build (that's usually the excuse people that don't put up stats or wins make), the individual tactics that you set have a much greater influence than most people realize.
