is there a thread on this?

No it's in the Changelog Current Projects:

- New more accurate method of calculating receiver lead distance, with output accuracy weighted by QB vision checks

If you only knew what actually made Darius throw like that. Just a few for your viewing pleasure.

vision is very imp for qb's , i think more imp than stregnth. the vision changes are very fair ... make the games/scores more realistic

FYI now smooth operator will reduce the wr's vision, so i think every qb will need to start pumping vision

eg. jay cutler has a REALLY strong arm, but pennington is more accurate with his throws , no sense in being really strong if the passes are not on target

no the fact that the #2 wr on the team was the fastest player on the field, and the cb is either slow building or has too much sa's and not enough attribute points ... even culpepper looked great with moss and carter ... i mean you won the game 125-0

but ur qb looks like he will be a force in a season or 2 tho

the WRs having less vision because of smooth operator shouldnt mean the qbs need better vision. A lot depends on how much vision is going to be needed to throw accurately.

Smooth operator means that WRs will need a little better vision. Qbs having better vision wont effect the wr

there are many dbs lvl 35+ that have 60+ vision naturally, if a qb's vision is not 3rd capped within a reasonable amount of time, db's will get the jump on the pd or int

The fact that he hit the WR in stride was more so the point than anything else. Typically most QBs end up throwing the ball and the WR stops to catch it...regardless of lvl.

the longest throw was 35 yards ...not that hard to hit a wr in stride 35 yards down the field ...

My team's QB could do that with just 50 strength:

DBs having high vision doesnt make them accelerate faster, they read it faster which doesnt matter because of my strength. The ball gets there before the DB can jump the route

now imagine a cb that has speed agility vision and jumping all at the 3rd cap naturally? maybe some vet points in agility and speed ... a cb like that would give your qb a REALLY hard time since he would have the vision to see what your qb is doing before he does it ... the agility/speed to break on the ball and the reach to deflect the pass, even tho you throw it hard ...
