ya and it's certainly a good point. but what exactly do you need to get into place to make a play? THAT nobody really has completely figured out.

I have seen some damn good corners get burned. I have seen some corners out there, who most people would think is a bad build, lead the league in int's and p.d's.

a combination of speed and agility so #1 u can keep up with the wr
then vision so u can see whats going on, and jumping for longer reach/jump balls
next i personally say confidence, if ur cb gets beat on a route, the less confidence the more likely he will try not to get beat after that, basically playing more cautious ... also u can have as much vision as u want but if u dont have the confidence to go with it, ull see the pass coming but may not go for the int, only get the int if the qb throws a bad pass

I can imagine why confidence is so important to a corner. Every completion against you will build quickly if you don't have a decent confidence number. I'm starting my first corner and I'm wondering what you think of strength? I understand the importance of the trinity - Speed Agility Vision. But could a high strength help a corner dominate the WR route running ability? Anybody know? What about strength vs. jumping in builds?

I think CB's are about to find out why they need decent ( 1st or 2nd capped) Vision.... this next season ( read changelog).
Anything less than 1st capped Vision for a CB and I think he'll be at a disadvantage.

OH yeah let's go in circles. First you say you need to be in position to stop the wide receiver from catching the ball, you have made it clear you have that figured out. then you say you need confidence, so when a wide receiver catches a ball on you, you have the confidence to recover. I think you're pretty lost yourself.

Str helps, with pass defense.

Confidence will help your morale in-game by preventing your morale from dropping too much after a bad play and boost your morale more when you make a good play.

So if you have low morale (that makes you play worse) confidence will help prevent it getting lowered as much.

being in position is the key but even champ bailey and dion sanders in their primes couldnt stop EVERY pass thrown their way
do u need more help understanding this? hopefully you get it ... cbs NEED confidence

stregnth has no bearing on pass defense, more for AFTER the catch (tackling)
jumping would help more, may give u the edge to deflect the pass and may actually help u make a tackle from further away IF the wr makes the catch ... which is going to happen sometimes ...

if jamming is introduced in the off season then stregth will become much more imp than it is right now for a cb

I'd love to see bump n run introduced. Those one dimensional speed WR builds would take a serious hit.

I have been playing this game longer than you. I probably know more about this game than you will ever know. I am probably better than you will ever be. Don't you dare talk condescending to me, when you're going in circles about your advice ass pimple.

its all based on %.

the higher your vision and SV the better chance you got to not gettin faked out.

are you gonna get faked out sometimes? yea cause the offense has abilites to counteract vision like awe inspiring or pump fakes stuff like that.

so its a give and take thing but feel free to take vision as high as you want, I dont see any disadvantages to it.

but call me a skeptic in thinking that equipment or VA's has anything to do with the sim. I think there just little shiny objects to keep us busier.

longer ... your "oldest" player was created mid season 2, my cb was created at the end of season 2 ... so ye u have been playing the game longer, congrats you win by 15 days ... 2 weeks and a day ... huge difference

i have provided examples to back what i say abou confidence ... my advice now that u cant dispute it u get angry? aww ... cheer up lil fella

anything to prove stregth makes a cb BETTER at defending the pass in GLB? im really interested how this would help ... since there is no bump and run ... can u explain ? and provide an example from glb to back it? or is it all speculation?

we are talking about FACTS

FACT - http://www.glbwiki.com/index.php?title=Morale

do u kno more than wiki to?
