My QB has +20% Quick Release chance and I've been playing him on medium all season. In his first playoff game he only completed 25% of his 8 pass attempts playing on medium, so for his 2nd playoff game I tried bullet and he completed 86.4% of his 22 pass attempts.

Remember, the coverage and CB abilities have been changed in the sim.
We tried bullet as a team to find out it is no use. Quick release is most
likely working, but your guys are covered tighter off the line.

Most likely what you are seeing is closer coverage by the corners when the sim was changed.
Take a look at the change log for January. You will see mostly updates to the coverage.

The good news is, it effects your opponent's ability to pass well too!

Quick Release = THE shiznet (edited for THE) lol
bullet passing = crap in season 7, who knows what it will look like season 8...?
hopefully our QB's will once again be able to hit WR's in stride....at least...
