show me a play where you have a tight end blocking on the left side on a run play

It's nice to have a personal stalker.

Mommy didn't give you enough attention puppyboy?

Heh then I assume it's not possible then, based on your response. I knew it wasn't anyways. I'm an OC and I would LOVE to line my TE to the left.... if I could. As posted earlier, TE's can only be lined to the left OR right on PASS plays only. On run plays, they can only line up on the right.

Unless there's a trick to fooling the A.I. into smuggling the TE on the left side of the line while still running, I'd like to hear about it, or better yet, see proof of it.

i'm 100% positive that you can't line the TE up on the left side and run the ball.
as has been mentioned, i'm perfectly willing to admit i'm wrong if there is game footage of this happening.

as far as builds go, i don't look for much difference in DE builds for each side.
as long as both have softcapped STR, i want as much SPD and AGI as possible from both sides.

if the ROT sucks, LDE is better
if the LOT sucks, RDE is better

You won't because you can't. BB is an idiot, just pass him his pudding and say "Bless his heart". You can only do so much with an extra chromosome you know.

Not to be argumentative, but technically speaking, if I put my TE at the LOT position my TE would be on the left side of a running play. Just being very literal with this one.

Other team did it against us all day today, so I definitely think its possible

Show me game footage of the tight end lining up on the left on runs to the left. I would love to see it.

sorry, you are correct. it was a pass play from the shotgun everytime

For some reason it's still a whole lot easier to attack the QB at LDE than it is RDE.

I have DEs that are exactly the same on a team. One has over 50 sacks. One has about 13. This is because they both break their blocks regularly, but for some reason -- despite being the same just about everywhere -- the LDE always beats him to the sack by a good few ticks.

Go figure. I have no idea why.

same with me

I fine it funny people with absolutely no knowledge of this game come in and post nonsense as if they knew exactly what they're talking about. Luckily I'm serving as both OC and DC for two teams and I know for sure they are speaking with their asses.

when I said you can't line a tight end on the left side for run plays you say this, insult my intelligence, then claim I am Stalking YOU?
You really are a nut-job.

Yeah but he is a tight end playing LOT, not a tight end lining up on the left side as a tight end. with that logic you can have a linebacker, HB, f.s. S.S. or any position line up on the left side on run plays.

My friend and I both play DEs on the same team. We helped eachother build so we have pretty similar builds pretty much just a 5 point at the most difference between any of our stats. He plays LDE I play RDE. He is sitting at about 25 sacks, I'm sitting at 11 and it was like this last year too. Though I have noticed a lot of times he is playing against a slightly weaker player. I kind of wonder if teams setup their better blockers to take on the RDE since that seemed to be the position all of the sacks were coming from before.

As mentioned above its the Protector SA, part of what changed with the "DE Nerf" was that the effectiveness of the Protector SA was increased. At the Pro Level against even competition the only sacks I've seen the RDE get is when they run a HB screen because the QB rolls out to the left and the DE can get to him. Other than that RDE's get shut out indefinitely.

LDE has more to do and RTs don't get protector. More tackles vs the run & more hurries/sacks vs the pass.

Geez, what a joke. Is that why I have tons more sacks at RDE then my counter part at LDE (Zebadiah Machen)? I won't expose his build but I can tell you they are higher than my build across the board, even the SAs.

But you did get 50% right, LDE tend to get more tackles against the run.

You really have to stop bringing up production against gutted teams as if it's any kind of reliable indicator.
