Seen the replay from the test server? Throw out the 100/90 and 100/100, and you can see that there is a clear correlation between agility and acceleration.

No, I haven't seen the replays from the test server. I would sure like to though. Have a link ? I would prefer that agility helps acceleration.

Agility is a huge factor in acceleration, IIRC.

This.

Agility is the "forgotten" skill!!! Nothing is more maddening as a recruiter than to run into a level 30 or so LB with 80ish speed and 35 agility...Heck, they'd be faster, for all "football" purposes anyway, with 68 speed and 61 agility.

I'm not convinced that speed is at all noticeably different on a player with 68 strength than a player with 48 strength, all else

true for the most part
i think having a speed to agility ratio of 1 to 0.7 is the best

There is no best ratio of speed to agility

Each position has its own needs, and thus its own optimal ratio range for speed to agility.

WRs, Safeties, and CBs run longer distances, so they need a higher amount of speed compared to agility.

Run stopping linebackers and linemen run shorter distances, and need much more of a burst speed than a long distance speed, so they need lower amount of speed compared to agility.

Please tell me you did not just say that WRs and CBs need a higher speed:agility ratio...

CBs must cover WRs who, for all intensive purposes want to BREAK THEIR ANKLES! CBs need the greatest agility of any position in football, period.

THIS!!!

i love seeing agents who make 100 speed 60 agility CBs then play close/aggressive ... fails every time
