Yes, but since it takes you out of the play, I don't know if that's good compared to moving on to multiple defenders.

Lower level guy on my team WAS leading the league in pancakes and had an 7 in cut block. He also had a 5 in pancakes. His attributes arent outstanding so i can only assume these 2 had something to do with it.

Shock Block is great for a strong pass blocker. Quick Cut? More of a offensive ability than a blocking.

First step helps. It helps when you are from a stop to get thru the line. YOu just need some agility. I have 65 agility, so I see a big difference.

Its a great atribute to have, for a blocker or rusher. It makes you able o reach max speed faster. YOu also need speed to make it work as well. You can only accelerate UP TO your top speed.

Quick cut is good. My FB became a better blocker after putting some points into it.

I am not sure why Shock Block is only good for pass blocking. Wouldn't it help the FB clear the hole when lead blocking?

I also think first step is a pretty good SA. It has to be at least 4 and you have to have at least 60 agility but the difference between a RB with FS and one without is noticeable. Shouldn't be any different for a FB.

It's in the Pass Blocking tree, so therefore it will activate when pass blocking.

Not a given, but Bort has stated that shock block only works for passing.

Not a given, but Bort has stated that shock block only works for passing.

Even though it wasn't his exact words, what I said was more or less of what Bort said on the issue.

Just because it's in the pass tree doesn't mean it won't work for running plays. There are plenty of SA's that cross over, but are just more helpful to the tree. In that respect, it wasn't a given that shock block wouldn't work for running until Bort clarified.
