Lol, no worries. Well my level 27 HB I mentioned above has 77 base speed and 60 agility.

I'd guess that balln4lyf's HB has slightly less speed but much more agility.

77 base with no gear? Isn't that like a 6 to 1 increase?

Yeah. He was originally supposed to be just pure speed with high Quick Cut and First Step but low agility. But that didn't work too well so I've been getting his agility up.

Pretty much right. 5th capped speed, 3rd capped agility. A little higher though b.c I finished 3rd capping agility once I hit level 25.

nice thats where im headed with my back. Are you going to split your equipment between speed and agility or all speed?

Not to be too critical, but I don't see the point in 5th capping speed and neglecting agility if you're not stacking all your gear into it.

On my mid level HB I went 4th cap spd/agi and I could imagine going any higher.

I could easily 4th cap agility to catch up with the speed if I wanted to. It's not the direction I'm taking the build though. In 3 seasons I expect him to be an absolute beast. Also the diff. is not that big, and it is really the only way you can get a big enough difference with diminished returns(as in 20 speed versus 30 speed being much more than 70 versus 80.

I tried the low agl high speed path as well. Just doesnt work.

If I were to do a hb again, I would probably take speed to 80 naturally, 69 agl, and train all other stats.

High Quick cut/first step, and Slippery VA.

What's the point of slippery. A elusive back most likely has a very low opportunity of breaking tackles and should be avoiding tacklers anyway. I think Track Star and Quick Cut are the better VAs especially if you already have high speed/agility. I mean in your post you say 80 speed/69 agility if you get 15s in both of those thats a really nice increase.

Elusive backs break tackles that do not register as a broken tackle on the php. As I understand it, slippery increases this chance.

A high rushing bar usually indicates a very well built speed back.
