I could see maybe adding some str and tackling more than you would on a CB1, but blocking?
Yes you are missing something. Blocking not only helps players block effectively but also helps players get off of blocks more effectively. Not worth SPs but training to 30 will surely help the #2CB. Sounds crazy to most people, but it surely works.
