We're talking about blocking. I don't think there is any issue with rushing FBs.

I'm happy with my FB. Probably having his best season.

Ah I see it now. I overlooked that one. I was looking for a FB in the top player threats list after you said he was "team MVP". I figured the only way you'd get on there was for rushing.

I looked at some of his plays from your teams last game and I'm impressed. Care to share any build info?

well since i don't have permission to share his build specifically i will say that the philosophy is that speed and agil gets the FB where he needs to be. huge blocking numbers aren't needed, 60+ is good. agil is most critical for both rush and pass blocking. so 65+ in speed, agil and blocking and then good solid numbers in vision and str and you will be set. of course good numbers in lead block and spot blitz.

also if you contacted his agent i'm sure he would just give you the build.

Thank you - I'll ask him. Mine has around 60 in speed, agility and blocking, coupled with solid vision, conf, and strength - so I'd expect them to be at least close in terms of blocking ability.

One thing I thought could be the problem is the speed differential between the FB and the HB. If the HB is fast enough to get in front of the FB quickly the FB may just decide to try not to get in the way.

As far as i'm concerned, theres no reason for a FB to have blocking over the 1st cap, i don't really see many situations where its nessarry for a FB to hold his block that long.

I've seen things that suggest to me that blocking is vital for FBs. Its' not just about holding blocks.

I find this post absolutely amusing. build a better fullback. The fullback who leads my runner is a valuable asset to our team. He did plays like this all season long.
